Our Verdict
Most people will not be eligible due to the following language:
- American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus miles are not available if you have had any Citi® / AAdvantage® card (other than a CitiBusiness® / AAdvantage® card) opened or closed in the past 24 months.

Last time this bonus was offered people were successful in getting matched to 75,000 miles as well (people are being succesfully matched to this offer this time around as well). Before applying or asking basic questions in the comments make sure you read these things everybody should know about Citi cards here. American Airline miles have been seen as less valuable recently due to the fact that there hasn’t been much sAAver space recently, apparently American Airlines plan to make positive changes on this front but as we all know actions speak louder than words.
