Our Verdict

Not as good as the offers we used to see on the old AT&T Access More card, but that is no longer available. This isn’t a huge bonus, but might be interesting for people that aren’t eligible for other citi cards to the family rule. Obviously you’ll need to be an AT&T customer or know somebody who is so you can hit the $250 spend required for the $100 statement credit. Standard bonus on this card is 15,000 points. We will be adding this to the best credit card bonus page. Read these things everybody should know about Citi cards before applying.

This card is no longer available on Citi’s website. All the old links to the application are down. Looks like Citi has decided to quietly discontinue this card. I don’t know if this card is still available via product change.

Instantly approved and I had two AT&T phone bills sitting on my desk. They issue an account number, temp expiration date, and security code as soon as you are approved.

Can you still PC to this card? Looking for an annual fee free card that has extended warranty

I was able to PC my ancient AT&T Universal Card to this AT&T Access card about a year and a half ago, and I presume that if it’s still taking new applications you can still PC to it.

I miss the days of AT&T Access More card. Had got two iPhone6s worth $650 for less than $70 each + earn 3% on all Paypal purchases and online Rent payments. Money maker !!

The AT&T Access More card still exists, but only for people who held onto it. It was discontinued for both new applications and PCing to it several years ago.

Sorry, I meant the welcome bonus. I held it for couple of years until they discontinued those 3% categories.

Bringing this back from the dead to say: If you still have an AT&T Access More card make sure to check your points earning monthly. Loads of retailers in explicitly included categories are failing to show 3X and Citi intentionally obfuscates this by only showing categorical totals rather than line item points earnings.

Following up again: absolutely worth calling in about missing points. More than once they’ve put me on hold to do the math themselves and just been like “screw this, you just want a few thousand bonus points?” and I’m like “yep”

Not worth it as a keeper card anymore. After a year (or immediately if you don’t do any AT&T purchases ever), all it does is earn 2x TYP on certain online categories. But the Citi DoubleCash card (now that you can convert its cashback to TYP) effectively earns 2x TYP on ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. Which makes earning 2x TYP on just a few online categories pretty silly IMHO.

I disagree as this is a no annual fee card that still offers the citi 24 month warranty purchase protection. DC card does not offer this. Something to keep in mind.

Totally agree. I would not waste a credit pull or 5/24 slot for 15K points, but the extended warranty coverage on a no AF card is great, especially if you already have a Citi TYP set up. This card also tends to get the ATTAM retention bonuses. Obviously that is not a guarantee, but I received 2 extra TYP per $ on up to $17.5K spend this year. Getting 3x on everyday purchases, or 4x for online purchases was great. An underrated card, IMHO.

that is mostly true (above) but remember that (inexplicably) Citi offers periodic retention bonuses on the no AF ATTA card, so you can get it goosed up to 3x TYP on generic spend, 4x on online spend up to 35k per cycle (usually 6mos). I’ve gotten it twice, been turned down for an extension of it once.

this is a general credit card so you can use it for anything you want. Hope this answers your question.
