Citi has a number of travel partners that you can transfer points to. Below are a list of these partners, they transfer at a rate of 1:1 unless otherwise listed (e.g 1,000 ThankYou points can be converted into 1,000 Singapore Airline miles).

The value you get out of this will depend what you then do with the points you’ve converted.

American Airlines/United Airways Flights

When you have the Citi Prestige card you can redeem TYP for paid AA/UA flights. When doing this redemption you get a value of 1.6¢ per point.

Other Flights

You can also redeem your points for flight with other airlines, although this has a slightly lower point value coming in at 1.33¢ per point.

Shopping

Like most rewards portals, Citi has a shopping section. Points are worth 1¢ a piece when using this option (apart from merchandise which will vary based on how much othestores are charging for the same product)

Given that this card is a premium travel credit card with a high annual fee, you’d expect it to come with a range of benefits. I was approved with a $5,000 credit limit. After finding out I was approved, I went ahead and moved over credit from a card I wasn’t using though.
