Our Verdict

Anything that encourages more people to get the vaccine is a good thing in my opinion. I’m sure the comments section will be rational.

I reached out to them for more details and they said the first dose has to be started after 5/8 and you have to be fully vaxxed.

Rules are found here: https://thinkfoodgroup.com/giftcard-rules/

These vaccine time based rewards are dumb — you create a system that encourages people to hold out for better rewards rather than also rewarding people who proactively got the vaccine.

Free food is cool, and I suppose being vaccinated is its own reward, but I really just got the vaccine so I could tell strangers about it—and look down on people who haven’t gotten it.

Moderna’s first “successful” vax after years of failures. Their first EVER drug to market and it doesn’t even go through full approval process (FDA EUA). Yeah, no thanks.

You know there are other vaccines, right?

And also about half a billion people already vaccinated?

Do you think they are all hiding the terrible consequences just to get people like you?

If you don’t feel comfortable with Moderna there are two other options available 🙂

What vaccine is banned? We have three in the US that are in use. From three different companies. The OP has a problem with Moderna so two others to choose from.

Not “doesn’t” go through, “hasn’t” gone through yet is more accurate. There are protocols that have to be met before they can apply for full FDA approval. Pfizer just started the process for theirs. Full FDA approval is a long process, the emergency approval is just one step in it.

I’m between doses, I wonder if getting my second dose after 5/7 will count.

Given that apparently a good number of people are choosing to not get the Pfizer/Moderna second dose, I think it ought to count.
