Update 10/7/21: Deals are now live and we have previews for the first three weeks. Some interesting offers:
- 20% off Marriott gift cards on 10/20
Daily Getaways by the US Travel Association is back this year. The deals will start on October 7, 2021 and a full preview will go live on October 4, 2021. The deals are all limited in number and whoever gets in first gets the deal. Unfortunately all of the more popular deals sell out near instantly and are impossible to get.
Hat tip to CericRushmore
Choice hotels points at 0.5c/p seems like a really good deal, especially at in-demand locations, like national parks.
20% off a $500 Bonvoy GC seems like a good deal but with only 200 available I doubt I’ll get one.
Yep – I clicked Buy Now less than 5 seconds after 1pm and got this message:
“Sorry, this inventory is already on hold for other customers while they complete their order.
But they may choose not to buy it, so here’s what you can do:
1. Try Again
2. Try selecting a smaller quantity”
Travel is way down
I wonder how hotels can increase prices at a time like this?
The hotels don’t need the money
They are clearly tryna create fake/artificial demand for stuff that’s not really valuable lol
The Hyatt point purchases are a big letdown compared to the 2019 deals. I had purchased 40,000 points that year for $415. Now this year they’re offering 30,000 points for $396 (quantity: 2), 50,000 points for $660 (quantity: 6), or 80,000 for $960 (quantity: 8). In 2019, they offered 4 different Hyatt point purchasing options at much better prices and the available quantities were 25 to 120 for each offer… unlike this “qty: 2” crap.
Yeah basically unusable with the low quantities
Not surprisingly, system was unresponsive for 45 seconds and then said “sorry”
Wow! Such good deals you can’t find anywhere else!
Kinda lame, plus people used to instantly buy the best deals with bots.
LOL, 8 QTY in total for the 80k Hyatt point package, which isn’t even an amazing deal to begin with. What a joke.
They just announced the first two weeks.. Let’s just say I don’t expect any of this stuff will sell out..
1. The deals haven’t been that good in the past few years.
2. Beware of points that expire – like Hertz.
