Our Verdict
Discount is big enough to make up for the fees/increased prices that DoorDash charges.
You can also stack this with the $10 Chase credit and 10% back from Shopback portal which is valid through 6/27.
For those, like myself, that were targeted for this deal. Shopback is currently offering 10% cash back at Doordash until 06/28. If you aren’t familiar with it…Shopback is a relatively new shopping portal. I signed up using Chuck’s referral link. Just fyi…have a blessed rest of your day!!
How can you tell that you’re targeted – it’s showing up somewhere in your account?
I’ll add a note about the Chase and Shopback stack
I am seeing 40% orders of $80+, up to $35, only at Stop & Shop, only on 6/26.
This offer with new promo code will drop on 6/27. What you’re seeing is just a different offer
I still have like $10 credit remaining on my CSR. So, should be able to stack this deal with that. I feel like the additional fees on Doordash are lot less if you have Dashpass.
I regularly order groceries from nearby BJ’s and the only fee I see is 5 cents bag fee…prices on BJ’s are also lot cheaper than most grocery stores that’s close by. It might not be working for everyone but the Doordash credits from CSR have been saving me lot of money.
I used my last remaining $10 credit a few days ago or I would have also considered this deal. That is if I was targeted, which I’m not sure if I was.
Same! I’m new to Dashpass with CSP
I got a 30 percent promo on groceries this month, followed by a 40 percent one last week
Saved a bunch
Now this. I’m fully stocked, though, so may have to pass lol
If DoorDash had a “99% off up to $1000” offer someone would come in the comments and say “It’s not worth it because of the fees and tip”. Next time just leave that note out of the post. The people who can do basic math and stack discounts will figure it out.
I don’t get people who complain about deals on this site
If it’s useful and relevant to you, good
If not, move on
If you find em, add tips as you find em for others to benefit
“Discount is big enough to make up for the fees/increased prices that DoorDash charges”
Not in my experience, sadly, esp. as they’re tellingly excluding pickup orders. fine for those urban folks with cash to burn. For me, ever since they gutted the pickup options at most grocers, it’s been hard-pass on doordash
If you spend the required $40 on grocery items, you will save $20, if you were targeted. I doubt that the fees plus the price mark up total more than $20. Therefore, I take the side of
William Charles in this argument!
No sales are available on Doordash and no discounted grocery stores are available on Doordash either… So I completely agree with Escot.
This is false
There absolutely are sales on Doordash merchants
I managed to get a bunch of steeply discounted stuff from Sprouts the other day for instance
It just comes down to what you buy. Compare prices, consider the value of your time and opportunity cost for using it, and place orders accordingly
That in itself is a hassle to be calculating opportunity cost with so many factors, who has that kind of brainpower left in their day.
🤷♂️
You can go pick through the aisles yourself if you’d like. Come away buying stuff you don’t need
Or comparison shop across Ubereats and Doordash with promos as they appear. And they do appear frequently
Had Ubereats with Capital One card for a long while, now Dashpass with Chase Sapphire Preferred
I’ve done the math on my groceries and stock up on staplez when I can, and it works out for me. A matter of minutes on my phone really. And I’ll pay a small premium happily if it saves me an hour at the grocery store and impulse buys etc. Though that’s on stuff like milk that’s easily outweighed by the sales and promos etc.
You might want to add “Targeted” or “YMMV” to the title as it shows this in the terms: “Only available to select users as indicated in their account associated with this email address.”
Sure
Can you combine this with the Chase Sapphire $10 offer?
If it works like other offers that had promo codes, yes, it will stack with the CSR credit.
