The Offer

- Dosh is running a special referral promotion where the referrer will get a $25 bonus for each referral.
- The new member gets the standard signup bonus of $5 after they link a card and another $1 for the second card and third card ($7 total).
In order for $25/$5 bonuses to hit, the new member needs to make an in-store purchase which earns cash back before May 7th. For example, they can use a linked card to pay at a restaurant found on the Dosh platform.
The Fine Print
- Valid Monday 4/23/18 at 12pm CT until Monday 5/7/18 at 12pm CT.
- You can check the status of your referrals in the Pending tab in the Refer page inside the app.
- If you redeem $600 or more in rewards via transfer into your bank or PayPal account in a calendar year, Dosh will issue a 1099 to both you and the IRS. For more information, please email [email protected].
Our Verdict
They sent out an email to members about this offer – it should be true for all members, but you can check your emails to ensure that you got the offer. $25 for a portal referral is quite nice, just remind the new member to make an in-store purchase so you’ll both get your bonuses.

They are being shady with my referral. Had my friend signup right in front of me, link their card right in front of me. Went to a listed offer together, watched them swipe their card. Showed up as a pending referral but transaction never posted.
I email support, they ask for a screenshot. I send it to them AND proof of the transaction. They just keep giving me form responses about how the promotion works.
Too bad Dosh. We are two legit new users who loved the app and were excited about using it. But if this is the first experience we have — no thanks.
FYI, they do not accept VOIP numbers when trying to register
How does dosh work if you also have Drop? Can the same card be enrolled in both? Im assuming you wouldnt get points for both programs (if a store participates in both programs)

DOSH simply links the card via card # and info. Drop uses bank logins. Both will work side-by-side tho rarely will you see stackable deals between the two.
I just started using DOSH with their 10% at Sam’s. Wish I had signed up back when I started on Drop… Good app! And now I’ll get $25 for an easy referral when my friend goes on their already planned trip to Forever21.
