Drop: Get $15 Back on your First UberEats Order [Working For Existing Users Also?]

Update 6/8/18: In case you didn’t get the $20 offer – offer is showing now for some with $15 instead. Some reports of the new $15 offer also being available to existing users. Big if true. Turns out to be untrue.

The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • Get 20,000 Drop points (worth $20) when you make your first UberEats order after clicking through the Drop app.

The Fine Print

  • Expires May 31, 2018 (it’s a 48 hour deal – around 24 hours remains at time of this posting)
  • For new Uber Eats customers only.
  • Member must order hrough the link to be eligible for points.
  • Offer is eligible for 20,000 Drop points.
  • Offer cannot be combined with other offers.
  • Points from orders will be pending until Uber Eats has confirmed that the order is complete. This may take up to 45 days.
  • Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Our Verdict

There’s also an offer from Giving Assistant to get up to 75% back on your first order which can be better for a large order. This $20 offer from Drop can end up better, especially for a smaller order where it may even be a slight moneymaker. Who said there’s no such thing as free lunch!

If you’re new to Drop, read our review here. You can also get a $5 signup bonus by using a referral link to signup and then linking a card. Our referral link is: doctorofcredit.

I still haven’t received my points either. Going back and forth with them about it, but so far, nothing.

Caveat: Save your receipts! I did this on May 30th and am STILL waiting for points. Have been emailing Drop back and forth repeatedly.

Has anyone had any luck trying to contact Drop customer support? I tried to update my phone number so I can redeem some points, never got a response… so all my points are stuck there and I cannot even redeem it 🙁

The new $15 offer on my account does not say you have to be a new member.

The sentence ‘You must be a new Uber Eats Customer’ disappeared on my offer page. However, I suspect they simply forget to state it since it is too good to be true. Will try tonight.

Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s actually the case.

I see what @TJ was talking about, in that the new member language is no longer on the pre-activation screen. However, the linked “Terms and Conditions” still clearly state that you need to be a new member, and after you activate the offer, under “HOW IT WORKS -> You must order through the link below,” it says:
“To qualify, click through the link below and place your first order”

Very misleading, I know.
