How does it work if I’m making an offer on an item?
Offer needs to be accepted before the promotion ends otherwise the discount won’t apply.
Do gift cards work?
You can use eBay gift cards to pay for your purchases. You cannot apply the 20% discount to purchases of gift cards (as those items are excluded).
Our Verdict
I was pretty certain they would have another sale before the quarter ended. eBay always likes to get their sales numbers up with these types of sales. Shame it’s not another 20% deal like we saw earlier in the month. The nice thing about these sitewide sales is that eBay effectively foots the bill so sellers on eBay are much less likely to increase prices like we see them do with the store specific deals. Don’t forget to use a portal to get a further 1.75% cash back and eBay bucks as well. RetailMeNot is also offering $5 when you spend $25+ on eBay. I think it’s too late in the month to pay via PayPal & get 5x on the Freedom unfortunately (although I guess it doesn’t hurt too much to try). We will repost when the sale goes live and we will post any interesting deals we/you find.
