Our Verdict
Interesting that this is app only. 15% is usually the biggest discount we see, but sometimes we also get 20% off offers as well. I wouldn’t be surprised to see eBay offer another big discount sometime after this 15% off as well. I’m guessing portals and the like won’t work due to being in app only? (Ibotta should work). Spending $666.67+ will max out this promotion.
At the last minute, I thought to use the Drop app and it switched to eBay and everything seemed normal with no issue adding the 15% code.
Drop app gave me 20x points on my eBay app purchase.
Works well paying with ebay gift cards purchased with 10% AMEX offers statement credit and cash back at Staples.
I had problems trying to add 2 new (to my ebay acct) gift cards on one order, kept erroring out. Frustrating doing it on the app too.
Bought multiple $100 ebay GCs at Target for 5% redcard discount and then couldn’t use multiples of them on a higher priced item.
As always with ebay, YMMV.
anyway to make this work on a desktop?
The discount does show up on desktop once it’s added on app. Not sure how it will process though.
Code PICKFAST doesn’t work. It says you have already applied this code to an order
I would like to buy 2 unlocked Samsung S9’s. I would like to know of any personal experiences with buying mobile phones away from such retailers as the phone companies themselves or others such as Best Buy, etc or even other websites such as ebay.
In other words, is it best to buy through retailers such as Best Buy in case of returns, etc?
Always buy my iPhones on eBay. Save on tax and MRSP. Never had a problem. Make sure you buy a new, factory-sealed and non-activated device.
If you plan on returning sure go to a store. But if you buy on eBay it’s pretty much the same as going to a store. Just find a seller with tons of reviews and check through their inventory.
These eBay sales are increasingly useless as many sellers hike prices. The only good ones are 10% back in ebucks which can be converted to cash with a bit of creativity.
Great, the surface pro 6 bundle increases it’s price by exactly $100 compared to yesterday.

Available for $200 on BestBuy, Walmart on Black Friday.
With all the warranty protection and what not, and large return window.
First thing that greeted me when I installed the app was a cheery “Earn 5% back with Samsung Pay”, so this should stack with Samsung Pay.
Samsung pay 5% ? expires today?
“Expires on Nov 21, 2018” – word for word from the Samsung Pay terms. We’ll see tomorrow if that includes the 21st or not.
Just used the 5% cashback deal. Samsung pay opens the eBay mobile website and not the app. The coupon code works though.
Is there any way to store ebay gift cards in your account before hand? It is a real pain in the neck typing in the gift card codes on the app.
Buy something cheap.
Nope. The only method is to buy something with the GC so its linked to that eBay account. Than it’ll show up everytime you want to redeem the left of the GC.
