Our Verdict
Don’t think we’ve ever seen as low as 5%; better than nothing, I suppose. Nice to see this one go for 3 days.
I haven’t gotten the email on this one yet, but the link (above) worked to activate it for me. Use a shopping portal for additional rewards. Appreciate those who shop through our eBay affiliate link.
Hat tip to reader US
Parkerthon arch don’t despair. i didn’t qualify for the last gazillion offers, but got this one.
What do you guys buy on ebay when you get these offers?
That makes me despair though lol… I’ve had offers come 90% of the time forever. I usually only make big ebay purchases when these things hit. Anyway I buy all sorts of things. I usually buy stuff I know I want and typically have high inventory. Stuff I’ve also been eyeballing for a while that have been on my wish list, nice to haves. Things that never qualify for cashback, coupons, or discounts of any sort are the best deal. Think high end premium brands(e.g. Sonos, Apple, DeWalt), electronics, video games. I save on sales tax + receive bucks/% off + usually get fuel points from kroger buying ebay GC’s that I spend. Stacking everything together, I end up at about 30% off a brand new iPad or graphics card for instance. I steer away from anything that could hide abuse or that’s been “refurbished” unless it’s an insane deal I want to gamble on.
Office supplies for my work
I have maxed out my eBay bucks for the last 2 years.
I always get these offers as soon as they’re available.
For people who aren’t targeted, maybe you’re not spending enough money?
Don’t forget to use Ebates or TopCashBack for 1-2% cashback.
I find TopCashBack 1.5% is better than Ebates 1-2%
TopCashBack has tracked 95% of my orders my eBay.
PAUL S. I have to disagree with your assessment of Top Cash Back. I’ve had problems with approximately half of the purchases I make through them. Customer service is slow. I think they are just deliberately trying to wait me out. I always use Ebates/ Rakuten now. They are just more dependable.

Geez, eBay, you really know how to hurt a guy.
And suddenly I’m completely ineligible for every bucks offer. Wtf. I didn’t have an issue until I received an item I bought with bucks that I had to return because it wasn’t as described. I received a new bucks cert which I used and now I’m on some sort of eligibility blacklist.
Check your ebay bucks balance. If it is negative (they take away the ebay bucks when you return an item). If it is negative, you’ll not be eligible until it reaches zero or positive. Happened to me.
