Can someone confirm if eBay gift card can still be used to buy other gift cards on eBay?
Nope, they can’t
Best Buy e-gift offer expired on 03/28
oh wait, link has just changed: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buy-a-150-Best-Buy-Gift-Code-get-a-15-Bonus-Code-165-Value-Emailed-/262913800958?rpp_cat_id=5000006550
So is that a new Best Buy offer? If I maxed out the previous identical one I should be able to purchase again. Right, maybe or future not so clear?
What do you mean by ‘maxed out the previous one’? Is there a limit on the number of times you can buy this item that i don’t see?
Its almost always 5 per acct, sometimes less depending on brand. It wont state a limit until you try to add more.
I will try to purchase again tomorrow possibly but I am scared of angering the PayPal security bot/god. Its quite moody.
Interesting. I didn’t know that there is an unstated limit of 5. TIL.
I’d assume that the limit is reset since it’s a new offer, but there seems some risk that Paypal disagrees. What’s the worst case that could happen beyond not letting you buy more? Do they close accounts for the attempt to buy more than 5 of them?
PPDG is useless. Every time I try and buy something, I get the message to call PayPal customer service. Paypal customer service asks a bunch of personal questions, which I answer (reluctantly) and they still cannot tell me why I’m getting that message and tell me to keep trying. They actually have the nerve to tell me that it’s “for my own protection”. It would be great if a lawyer started a class action suit against these clowns. It’s false advertising when they advertise something at a particular price and you cannot buy the item, time after time.
