Stack Shopping Portal & AmEx Offer To Save Big on Blue Apron Meal Delivery

Update 5/20/25: Some people are seeing on Capital One Shopping – Blue Apron Get $85 back on purchases. I see this by going to the Events filter, and then finding Blue Apron. Hat tip to reader Techant

Update 5/5/25: Rakuten is increased further to $65/6,500 and Chase Freedom is increased further to 5,800.

Original Post 4/21/25:

There are two stackable deals for Blue Apron meal subscription signups:

  1. AmEx Offer and Citi Offer for $25 off $50; or Chase Offer for 15% back (up to $13.50 back).
  2. Shopping portal increased payout rates: Rakuten is at 6,000/$60 and Chase Freedom Ultimate Rewards is at 5,500. See all options here. (ht CorrectCombination11) You can also check what Capital One Shopping has to offer.

Looks like it might be possible to get a subscription starting at just $25. Or you can do a larger subscription if you want to meet the $50 spend threshold for the Amex Offer. Regardless, this can be a great time to try out Blue Apron and get the nice shopping portal intro offer. Just remember this is an ongoing subscription, see whether you like it and what to keep it before future charges post to your card.

Be careful. I did this recently and C1 came back saying “Ineligible” when it tracked. Fortunately I got notice just in time to cancel the order. I clicked through their link and did not modify the discount or anything so no clue why it said ineligible.

Just linked my Gmail to Fetch and it automatically added my Blue Apron receipt and gave me 40,000 points = $40!

I don’t see any terms or conditions on the Capital One $85 offer. Is there a minimum purchase required? Has anyone received it even with the minimum order?

Problem: how do you sort through the THOUSANDS of offers when none are text (and thus F3 cannot be used)?
Update: never mind: there was a search bar (which showed nothing in my case).

Can I get it just for 1 week with 10 Single-serving meals, and then cancel?

That’s what Im doing and rakuten appears to be tracking. I’m sure the Citi / card offers will too since I doubt there’s a distinction on their level

I signed up with the $85 cash back and $25/50 Amex and the meals don’t look appealing.

There’s some Daily Harvest nastiness from around 2017, completely free, still in my freezer.

I have Citi offers for $25 off $50, and $12 back on any purchase. Both on the same card.
