[First-Time Users] Doordash: $15 Cashback with Topcashback + 25% Off (DOORDASH25)

The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • Topcashback is offering $15 back if you place your first Doordash order when shopping through the portal.

There’s another promo showing on Topcashback which stacks:

  • Sign up with DoorDash today and get 25% off your first order, up to $7 in savings with promo code DOORDASH25.

The Fine Print

  • Valid only for your first order with Doordash.

Our Verdict

Far as I can tell, this will work on any size order, so if you make a $10 order it will turn out to be a moneymaker, I suppose. If you place a $28 order, you’ll get the full $7 off with the 25% code bringing down the total to $21, and then you’ll get $15 back from the portal as well.

If you are new to Topcashback, please signup with my referral link and get $10 after you earn $10 in cashback (the $15 earned on this Doordash deal should work to trigger your $10 bonus).

So if you create a new DD account over and over can you keep getting $15 from TCB or just 1 per TCB account?

Hi Ryan,

This is a New Member promotion, so the $15 from TopCashback is a welcome bonus for joining our site, so only a 1-time thing per-member 🙂

Thanks,
Patrick

Is there a minimum for the DOORDASH25 code? Doordash tells me it is $15, but I cannot find the terms anywhere.

Hi Fred,

Unfortunately this code is no longer on TopCashback but if you aren’t yet a member you can sign-up through Doc of Credit’s referral link to set up your account and qualify for the $15 cashback offer on your First Order with DoorDash 🙂

Thanks,
Patrick

Patrick, I’m already a TCB member. Is the $15 for my first order with Doordash available for existing TCB members, assuming I’m not an existing Doordash customer as well?

Hi Fred,
That’s fine, this $15 DoorDash promo doesn’t require you to be a new member of TCB, you just have to be a first-time customer to DoorDash 🙂
Hope this helps!

Just as a lot of us who appreciate DOC’s cc and bank acc posts without affinty links, this kind of frequent push for an inferior and questionalble cashback site together with affinty link could leave many bewildered and disappointed, at not only these particular posts.

How about opening an “unrelated” site thecashbackguy.com for these kind of posts?

The direct link isn’t an affiliate link, so I’m not sure what the complaint is? People have issues with all cash back portals, I personally find TCB to track better than other portals but agree that not everybody finds the same. We never censor comments so people are free to disagree in the comments.

If you only want to see credit card or bank account posts, that’s possible already: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/want-certain-content-blog-heres-solution/.

Keep in mind this site used to be about credit scoring, I’m sure you agree that you are glad we started covering different topics. I honestly don’t understand why people complain about this so much, literally takes a few seconds to scroll through the new posts each day.

I’ve had no issues with Ebates/Rakuten (40+ purchases). I’m 0 for 12 with TCB. I was indirectly threatened by their support in an open case if I contacted any vendors directly regarding missing or incorrectly processed cash back when TCB refused to pay. Why would I do that? Simple…they blame the vendors for all issues and refuse to communicate with them. They even claim they CANNOT escalate ANY issue with a vendor. So I will since I’m effectively the injured party.

When you submit a missing cash complaint, they can’t work on it for over a month. Then they just deny it. I assume they are overwhelmed by missing cash back complaints and thus are just that backlogged?

Hi Dan,

I’d have to interject here as these points are simply not true. We would never ‘indirectly threaten’ any member to not contact a retailer. We’d only advise members to not contact retailers directly as cashback programs for retailers are handled by 3rd party network agencies. As such retailer’s support staff may not be aware of their affiliate programs or even be clued-up on the cashback process, so they’re not always the best people to advise you, so this is simply what is implied.
You’ve also said that we “CANNOT escalate ANY issue with a vendor”, again, not true. Most retailers on-site with us are more than happy to look into disputes where cashback fails to track for whatever reason or if you feel it has been calculated incorrectly. There are some retailers we have which do not look into disputes, but this is a very small percentage and we are always up-front with members about this and wherever this is the case, it is noted in the retailer’s cashback T&C’s.
Your final comment concerning missing cashback claims is again a misleading comment. We have 4,000+ retailers on-site with us, and all will have their own ways of dealing with claims and will stipulate their own terms where disputes are concerned. For example, hotel retailers will not even begin to look at a claim until 1 -2 months following your stay dates. This is not a policy set-out by ourselves but by the retailer. If a claim was sent before they’re willing to look into it, they’d reject it immediately and gone is any chance we’d have of disputing the case for you. So any ‘on-ice’ periods for claims are there only to operate in-line with the requirements of that retailer.

I hope this helps to clarify these points for the other members reading some of your false information, and if you’d like to get in touch personally I’d have no problem shedding further light on any aspect of our cashback process or questions about your account/cashback.

Have a great day 🙂

^Patrick

I am bewildered and disappointed by inferior and questionable comments I find on this website, but I take the good with the bad.

I’ve used TCB many many times and have had maybe one or two problems with tracking, and that was a while ago. Maybe they’ve gotten better than their old reputation.

Hi Nick,
I’m sorry to hear you believe TopCashback to be an ‘inferior cashback site’. Unlike most cashback sites, TopCashback pass on 100% of any commission received for referring a sale back to the member as cashback. We also do not restrict payout options to quarterly payments and we usually have the most competitive rates on the market, so we see this as far from inferior. So it sounds like you might have had a bad experience with a transaction somewhere along the line, but if you’d like our team to look into it, they’d be more than happy if you’d like to get in touch via a support ticket from your account or our various social media channels.
Thanks,
Patrick
