Our Verdict
They had a similar deal last week, so looks like this will be weekly along with the SYWR portal offers. Extremely easy to accumulate lots of SYWR points with these promotions, normally I wouldn’t bother but this seems too easy not to.
An important data point.
After trying to take advantage of the two recent Fount offers, and neither of them going through, I received the following e-mail from SYWR customer service:
“The Fount app does not have separate offers, instead purchases through the app are processed with the current offer from the Shop Your Way Brands Portal. In both of these cases, your screenshots [copied from Doctor of Credit] were referring to the offer that was valid the previous week. Because of the incorrect information displayed in the app, we have adjusted your account for both of the offers that you were expecting, and we have reported this discrepancy. We hope that this error would not be repeated in the future.”
But the offers are different? I’m so confused.
Yes, the offers are different. However, I think the bottom line is that, as far as SYWR is concerned, Fount simply is not authorized to make any SYWR point offers in addition to, or different from, those being offered by the SYWR portal itself during a given week, and that such offers may not be honored going forward.
Wait so the Fount offers just don’t exist? That doesn’t make any sense…
Yes, SYWR customer service is telling me that the Fount offers simply don’t exist. I would be curious to see what other people’s experiences are.
other then have the same email account for both Fount and for SWYR, is there anything else that needs to be done in order to link them ? Thank you
Forgot to link SYWR before making order and now when I try to link it on fount app, it would not move beyond SYWR pin entry screen. Just wish had saved time and not done any of this.
