- Your personal Instagram page (must be public)
- Nutella Facebook page
- Once 50 eligible posts are received from each of the 50 states in the U.S. (with DC counting towards Maryland), We’ll be giving away 20,000 coupons for a free 13 oz. jar of Nutella! Use the map below to track our progress, then check back here for the coupon link.
Our Verdict
Doesn’t look like you actually need to do the twitter/instagram/facebook stuff, just need to wait for 50 eligible posts in each of the 50 states in the U.S. and then the coupon will go live. I imagine the 20,000 coupons will go fast, I’ll try to repost if possible when it lives.
They sent out an email “World Nutella Day Coupon Redemption” with a new coupon and more detailed instruction. I found it in my spam folder. Glad they did so. William Charles
Good grief. You had to be sitting at the computer waiting for 50 posts from 50 states and then click the link within what, 20 minutes? This is like the dumb people that will wait in a 4 hour line for some radio station promo of a free tank of gas. I like nutella like most people but too much effort and a large chance of nothing.
I didn’t have to sit in my car, just here in front of the tv by the fire, but yes,it was kind of dumb.
that sounds really nice, J2
Dead
Dead now. Took me a few times to get one to print. Edge worked. Thanks Jason. 20k coupons but i’m sure like 50% printed and less than that will get redeemed. What a shame.
It was live around 8:45 pm EST but gone in 10 mins. I got mine! 😃
Saying all 20,000 coupons have been redeemed. I call BS…
“we’re sorry you’re unable to participate” message??
Doesn’t work for me. Can’t even get it to download. And it won’t let you try again. Worthless. Won’t buy nutella again after this sh**show (pardon my French).
I’m actually quite angry. I’ve checked the site a few times throughout the day. Was happy to be one of the first however many. But they really screwed it up. Outside vendor. Broken software. Making us do those freaking Captchas. They are surely causing more ill-will than good. What were they thinking? I haven’t purchased Nutella in years and was looking forward to getting some. Now I’ll only remember this debacle. I hope they burn in hell.
So I thought the same, but just go to the folder where your downloads go to. Double click the file AFTER you’ve set up printer as Default. It will work then. Doing this actually allows you to retry again.
Thanks for the suggestion. There’s nothing in my d/l folder. On the coupon site, the link was blocked on my browser (I block a bunch of spammy sites: anything that pops up, has pop ups, or a paywall e.g. NYT, BI, etc.). Usually I can just right click the link in incognito to get it to load. But as someone said, it’s apparently one and done.
I tried a few other browsers and requested a coupon for my mom. Some wouldn’t get past the first page. One made it to the coupon part but the link wouldn’t load. Frozen. Of course with all these things, it started prompting me with captchas, sometimes 3-4 in a row. How annoying! So after 10 minutes of work, I got zero coupons. Good job Nutella!!!!
Woah, that’s a bit of an overreaction for a $3 spread lol. If you email them, I’m sure they’ll mail you a manufacturer’s coupon
Yes I suppose. Thanks for the suggestion. I did print the coupon link pages (a side effect of this hobby) so maybe I’ll shoot them an email. Although I’d hate to invest any more time into this. LOL
Here’s the link https://www.ferreronorthamerica.com/contact-US-residents Note at the bottom they say Mail Address but that means email. You do not need to fill out city or region LOL. But then I could not submit bc I couldn’t click on the suggested address! Their website is just as buggy as the freaking coupon one! I tried Firefox and the site wouldn’t even load! So I guess you can just email at [email protected]
Yep, they also have this on the World Nutella page:
*If you’ve attempted to claim your coupon and experienced any issues, we have your contact information and will reach out to you directly with your coupon for a free jar of Nutella.
I’m willing to bet they’ll send you few extra coupons if you tell them about your frustrations.
Wow that’s awesome. I would think they’d just tell you to pound sand.
So I got the replacement email. Tried using a different browser. Did not work! Got the dreaded “Unknown Application error: Unable to proceed, Please try after some time.” message. Of course, the link won’t load a 2nd time “The link you clicked to print this coupon in no longer valid.”
Are these people f**king stupid? Like did they actually strive to hire the most incompetent idiots on the planet? What the actual f**k? I really don’t feel safe eating nutella after seeing this s**tshow. If they can’t get a website to print a coupon after 2 tries… Anyways, I emailed the CEO. Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!
Got an reply asking for my address to mail a coupon. Let’s see if they screw that up too!
Opened in Chrome where PDF is the default. Can print from there.
Though there are few stores left that will take printed coupons for free items.
What stores accept/reject free-item coupons? I’ve never tried to redeem one before. Thanks!
Walmart in a lot of areas stopped taking any printed coupons. I’ve had some luck at Target. My local grocery store, Jewel-Osco will take printed but not for free items. Meijer will take them but not at self-checkout.
FDF file type? really?
edit:
changed manually to pdf but when opened, it only says
smart source
important: click “yes” on the dialog box to print your coupons”
seems like it’s not worth the time
