Amazon for Business
Amazon recently enhanced their business account option and they now offer free 2-day shipping on orders of $49 or more for business accounts. (Personal accounts only get the 2-day shipping option if they have Prime.)

- Special pricing may be available only for business accounts.
- Certain sellers may decide to limit their items only for business accounts to purchase.

The Fine Print
- Valid until 6/30/15.
- Offer for business account only.
- Spend can be combined from all associated business user accounts of one central account.
- Offer only applies to products sold in Business, Industrial and Scientific Supplies.
Our Verdict
To get $75 back on a $500 purchase is a really nice rebate. The main issue here is that it’s only eligible on products sold in Business, Industrial and Scientific Supplies. If you have a large purchase to make in that category this deal could be great.
For non-Prime members, Amazon Business account can be a nice way of getting free 2-day shipping. We don’t know how strict they are on defining a business and if they require documentation of the business.

That took forever to get the credit and I had to ask multiple times. Wasn’t worth the reselling effort, although I made $100 or so including the credit.

I registered my business (a sole proprietorship) using my existing personal account (no Prime). I don’t remember all of what they asked for, but it wasn’t much. I got an email saying it could take 3 days for my business verification to take place. 2.5 hours later I got an email saying that I had been verified. Now what can I buy in those categories?!
Not sure, I didn’t research well what there is to buy. Just figured I’d put it out there as an opportunity.
Nice to know they don’t make it hard to sign up for the business account.
