The Fine Print

• Must not have registered a card with Samsung Pay prior to February 11, 2016
• The offer period begins February 12, 2016 at 12:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends February 22, 2016 at 11:59:59 PM ET or when supplies run out, whichever occurs first (“Offer Period”)
• No more than 20,000 Gifts are available. The unique code must be redeemed on Samsung.com before March 15, 2016, or while supplies last, whichever occurs first.
• Without limiting the foregoing, if you have already participated in another offer involving a Samsung Pay activation/card registration, you are not eligible for this Offer. Limit one (1) Offer per Qualifying Activation per Qualifying Device

Our Verdict

It looks like Samsung is finally limiting people to one prize/gift per eligible Samsung device, in the past there was no limit and you could get the gift even if you were already an existing user. According to DanDeal user belighted this is not being enforced. There aren’t really any other decent Samsung Pay offers (unless you haven’t bought your device, if you haven’t you can get $200 off) out there but they seem to regularly offer up to $50 in gift cards.

I’d probably only go for this offer if I had redeemed one in the past, or I wanted to use Samsung pay now. They will almost surely offer something better than this in the future.
