Yesterday we posted about the GiftCardMall deal were they are offering a 5% discount on 5 Back Visa Gift Cards (direct link to deal). I wasn’t sure if the promotion was working or not due to conflicting fine print (one section said 5% off, the other said an extra 5% load), but today the promotion is displaying an instant 5% discount.
Keep in mind the following:
- These cards earn 5% back on select retailers
- Topcashback & SimplyBestCoupons (my referral link) are both offering 1.25% cash back on Visa gift cards purchases
- GiftCardMall has a history of canceling orders for no real reason
This is probably the deal of the year if you can get orders through without GiftCardMall cancelling them. You’re making a straight $19.05 profit per $500 gift card, then you get another $6.25 in portal cash back plus any credit card rewards. You should be making $38.25 per $500 gift card.
What Happens To Previous Orders?
If you made an order yesterday when the discount wasn’t applied then I think you’re out of luck. You can try calling them on 1-877-426-2551 and getting the order cancelled but as far as I know they can’t discount the price (even though the promo wasn’t working correctly).
That being said they do know there was an error with the orders yesterday, so there is a chance that they may fix it automatically.
