Our Verdict
Looks like this can only be used for one purchase, so maybe just add items to your cart until your ready to use the offer. I think gift card purchases should work, but feel free to confirm in the comments.  Google Pay was recently refreshed. There is currently a $21 referral bonus worth doing as well.

Adding in a comment very late. I tried to use a prepaid MC to buy the Etsy $200 GC. The purchase “went through”, but then Etsy notified me that they could not complete the purchase (CS rep told me it was from using a gift card, not surprising and dumb mistake by me trying to use a GC to buy a GC). The funds were never pulled out from my prepaid MC. I was bummed, GPay still showed the transaction as done and I realized it would not be resetting and giving me another change to spend buy an Etsy $200 eGC get the $40. I figured the pending $40 showing would be waived later when GPay realizes the purchase was not completed. But last week lo and behold my $40 was posted, and available to withdraw. Got the $40 in my checking account yesterday…for the price of $0!

I’ve bought two things off Etsy with this and neither have shown up. Anyone know how long it could take to track? It’s been over a week and I can’t find anywhere in the GPay app to contact them about untracked purchases.
I read through the terms. Your card is linked to google pay, so you don’t need to use GPay to get the credit. I didn’t see any other clarification, so I’d imagine there needs to be some contact between bank and Gpay. I’d guess that once your statement posts you’ll get the credit

Are the stamps legit?
At the price I found, almost half off for Diwali themed stamps, there must be some strange angle that lets them get them below cost or they want to raise awareness of the holiday or something… Or they could just be counterfeits.
They look real enough in the pictures at least, although I decided against it since it seems wrong to use stamps if I am not confident they are legitimate.

I just used a card linked to Google pay in the past. AFAIK that’s fine to do for all their offers. No need to use their actual payment system.
Bought $100 gift card and immediately got notification that Google Pay had tracked the purchase.
