A lot of the content on this site can be found elsewhere (although I do think we do a better job of presenting that information), but there were two times this year where I think we really helped readers:
- We warned you that the Chase 5/24 rule would be going into effect on business cards & co-branded cards well in advance. This should have given people plenty of time to get cards that they wouldn’t have otherwise been able to get. We also knew what cards were/weren’t affected by this new rule on co-branded cards when it was introduced.
- We told you that you had until August 28th to get Citi credit cards under the old rules. The new rules started appearing on cards on August 11th, so this again gave people a chance to get cards under the old rules before the new rules went into place.
Writing new content (and keeping old content up to date) is fairly time consuming, but it’s something I really enjoy doing (as does Chuck & Don).
