Our Verdict
There are currently portal bonuses for American Airlines (ends today and appears to be targeted) and United Airlines (ends on the 15th and isn’t targeted).
- Spend $100 and receive 300 bonus miles (extra 3x miles per dollar spent)
- Spend $300 and receive 1,200 bonus miles (extra 4x miles per dollar spent)
If you had the targeted AA offer or the UA credit card, you could basically get 8x miles per dollar spent. Personally I’d prefer to just wait for a 5x eBay bucks offer (10% in eBay credit), but might be useful for gift card deals that will die shortly.
