Over a week ago, the IRS rolled out a website where – ostensibly – you can check when you are getting your stimulus payment and add your bank information. The problem was it didn’t seem to be working for a lot of people, especially the part about adding your bank info.
Just today, multiple readers are reporting that the IRS apparently ran an update on the website and it’s now working for people to add their direct deposit info.
Add your bank info here | Main IRS landing page
The main people who were affected are those who filed their 2018 tax without their bank info, and have yet to file their 2019 taxes. Hopefully it’s working for everyone now.
Tip: Enter your address in all caps if you are having trouble with the IRS site.
