The Fine Print

  • Must be purchased by October 27th, 2016
  • Cuba has very specific travel requirements
  • If traveling to Cuba, every passenger must certify that they are eligible to travel to Cuba under one of 12 general license categories, a specific license or are a Cuban National.

Our Verdict

Super cheap flights, especially if you’re using JetBlue points (can get almost 5¢ per point in value). Southwest also has cheap flights available. As I’ve said before, I think Cuba will really struggle with the lack of tourist infrastructure – but I always prefer to visit places before they get too built up anyway.

People should also consider how they spend their money and where that money will be going. In this case, a brutal communist regime that has over the years murdered thousands and thousands of innocent people. One being my grandfather

Eduardo, I am so so sorry about all the horrific things the government has done, to your grandfather and others. Eduardo, I genuinely ask, if we travel and spend money in Cuba, say at something like an air bnb or food vendor, and talk to the people, are we not actually helping the people, both financially and with contact to folks outside of their country?
