Our Verdict
The best ever offer was $35, I’m not sure if/when they will offer that again so this might be worth doing for some people without accounts already. One of the reasons I love Topcashback is they have the same mindset as we do, they give users 100% of a store’s commission back as cash back. They make money through separate advertising banners ‘our list stores’ among other ways. I find that Topcashback rates are consistently better than other shopping portals and it’s the portal I use the most often.

I know some readers have had issues in the past, keep in mind money earned from Topcashback doesn’t become payable until they receive the money from the merchant so the wait times can be longer than other sites. I think the increased cashback rates are worth the wait times, but YMMV. As always make sure you follow our tips to ensure portals track correctly. I use TCB all the time. Pays slow but have never had a problem with it tracking and made $35 through the previous promo. Would definitely recommend. I mostly buy stuff from REI. Whatever I want to buy at REI, I get the exact price plus shipping and tax. I then go to TCB and track through to Raise for 2%-10% back and I buy REI gift cards at 7% off with a credit card that gets me 2%+ back. I usually do this step twice if my order is large and buy a large gift card first and then use my cash back from Raise towards the second card so that the amount I have sitting in Raise is low. It seems that Raise requires you to pay at least $1 before using your cash back. I also typically make sure the stuff I’m buying from REI is stuff I need/want and is already discounted. Then I will use a portal (SB or MP mainly) to then track through to REI gaining more cash back off the top there and use the gift cards for my purchases. TCB usually takes months to pay out but no big deal. STACK CITY
Forgot to add that REI dividends are still earned on purchases made with gift cards from REI so will still earn more back on that as well assuming you are a Co-Op Member.

Topcashback is junk. They will try to find every possible reason not to pay.
Cashback didn’t track? It will take months to fix. And finally when you will try to cash out they will deny payout due to something silly like fraud alert etc.
I’m battling payout of 6mo old purchase right now that they are not paying out.

Frankly I agree, this is trash. Why are you asking for ID documents when someone is legititimatey cashing out their balance a US bank account. This just happened to me as well. TCB is saying i am in a “sanctioned country” lol. are you serious?
Be careful: part of Topcashback’s strategy is to DENY a large proportion of click-thrus. They’ll report that you went through “Another Channel” and provide no evidence or other information. They will not tell you what “Other Channel” they think you went through either.
So, get your $30 if you can, but be prepared for a lot of cashback denials without recourse. In other words, once they say ‘Other Channel’, it’s a done deal and you aren’t getting your money.
A certain 3% is much better than an unlikely 4% – remember that!

Not sure why all of the negative comments here. It is certainly true and perhaps a valid criticism at how long it takes to get your cash back these days. That said, I’ve only had one tracking issue (and I submitted the info and it was resolved). The site otherwise works well and has been good.
In one sentence you say you don’t understand the negative comments, in the next you acknowledgethats its true and valid that there are lengthy delays in getting CB on time. A bit confusing.
It can be extremely frustrating to introduce friends to TCB and then when they use it to get CB on a deal/s (either to save money or as a “bonus”) it takes forever – well beyond their estimated payout times. A friend signed up around May and not a dime is payable yet. Then what’s the point?

I’ve used TopCashBack successfully over the years and have received hundreds of dollars in cash back. You do have to read the fine print at the bottom where it says you can’t use other coupons not mentioned on TopCashBack but that goes with everything in this hobby of CCs and Deals. attempted this last time they offered $35 and never received the money. same goes for tracking — approx 80% of my shopping thru their portal does not get credited. as if that wasnt enough — when brought up issues to customer service , they stall by saying “need to wait” and then after waiting, they tell u “its too late” or similar. they advertise higher % cashback but are able to do so bec they dont pay out. STAY AWAY AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
agree with you 100% cashback sites are trash. if you try to use a coupon from the retailer, that retailer will reject your cashback on tcb as well. Unless youre buying something for msrp and theres no sales going, then its fine. also got banned from rakuten because me and my brother have separate accounts and told me i have multiple accounts under the same household. fuck these sites.
