Update 1/9/24: Deal is back with promo code 24DISCOH1. Deal valid until 6/7/2024. (Offer is not available to anyone who removed and re-added card after 1/7/2024.)
The Offer
Direct Link to offer (affiliate link)
- Add Discover card on Amazon and get $10 off $10.01+ with promo code 24DISCOH1
The Fine Print
- Offer only applies to products shipped from and sold by Amazon.com. Products shipped from and sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if they are “fulfilled by Amazon.com” or “Prime Eligible”.
- Offer discount will be allocated proportionally among all promotional items in your original order. If any of the items in your original order are subsequently returned, your refund will equal the original price of the product, less the proportional amount of the discount. The total discount on the unreturned amount of your original order will then be less than $10.
- Offer is not available to anyone who removed and re-added card after 1/7/2024.

Our Verdict
Better than the $10 future credit deal that we often see. We’ll add this to our Amazon savings guide; there you can find a full list of live Amazon payment card deals, along with direct links to activate each one.
Tried this by creating a new account with the same card I’ve used for similar promotions. Got a suspicious account activity error and they cancelled my pending orders and blocked my new account.
Not worth for 10$ imo
I was able to get the $10 off my order even though I was not targeted
My thanks to DoC for posting this
So the promo link showed “not eligible” but the code still worked for you?
Did this work for anyone whose link said “Not eligible for Offer”?
If yes, that’d be interesting…
No, not for me.
Fairly certain this isn’t actually targeted, despite the targeted language. I was able to add the promo to all 8 of my accounts (from Amazon student trial churning).
Side note, I used the Discover Cashback Debit card. The workflow only works for the credit cards, so I had to add it manually. Makes me wonder the promo works for the rare third party Discover cards.
It did not work on my account.
When you say you added the promo, how did you do that? You mean added your Discover and used the code without having seen the targeted language?
Sorry for the late response, accidentally turned off notifications for this comment. I manually added my Discover debit card to each account, and then applied the promo code at checkout. I didn’t bother looking at the offer page on any of my accounts to check for the targeted language. Sam F.
so those who have been telling that this has been always targetted, they are wrong.
Previously as soon as this deal started, key was to remove the card asap once you have placed the order.Next Q you add the card again and you can churn this. This is applicable on all your multiple accounts.
This time amazon/disc F’ers closed this loophole. No idea who is eligible for this.If its same BS like points discount, this is officially dead.
It just means I won’t be buying as much from Amazon because I wasn’t targeted
yeah theyre really going to hurt off of you when they make billions a yr
BYE BYE to all those discounted gift cards.
Anyone know if you have to add the card via the button on amazon page and log in to your discover account? I think the slight billing address variations was what messed up my address book and create multiple entries of same address
The promo worked for my Discover debit card, which has to be added manually. I assume it should work for any manually added card.
Wow. New terms. William Charles might want to add it to the post.
wtf..lol..so we need to keep this card in the account always?
Next Q they will again change the terms to the old one so that none gets offer again.
Discover/Amazon playing games with us.
If card was already removed before 1/7 then it will work. Removing and readding is not allowed. So need to remove the card once offer is redeemed to be eligible for next round.
That’s not how it works now. I removed the card from my account back in October, and still not eligible. Something changed on Amazon after the Black Friday weekend, where accounts that were previously eligible just by this cutoff date criteria may no longer be eligible.
I’m pretty sure that’s how the YMMV nature of this works more so. I remove my card the second I use the benefits anyways
I removed my Discover card in December after the last BF deal and I am eligible.
I removed my card in December and I am eligible. It’s ymmv as always. But you have more chances of being eligible if you remove the card as soon as you use these eligible offers in order to be eligible again the next round.
I think that’s what happened too none of my 10 acts work. I thin they caught on to some of us.
Added
I was able to use it now. I had previously had my Discover card on my Amazon account, but it’s been about 2-3 years and it worked for me. It instantly came off at checkout and I was thinking it was going to be a credit on my bill.
Bummer, not eligible on both P1 and P2 account. In the past we was always eligible as long as we didn’t have the card in account at the time of promotion. Can someone post the fine print of the current offer?
