Check your Kroger coupons for the following offers:

  • Save a digital coupon to get 4x fuel points on Visa and Mastercard $100, $50, or $25 fixed-value gift cards. (Does not work on variable-load Visa/MC gift cards.)
  • Save a digital coupon to get 4x fuel points on third party gift cards. (Excludes Amazon.)

You should see these coupons for all Kroger-family brands. Deal usually becomes available at Harris Teeter as well in roughly the same time period. Typically, gift cards earn 2x, and occasionally they’ll put out offers like these to bump it up to 4x.

Our Verdict

When maxed out on a 35-gallon fill, 4x fuel points can amount to a 14% discount on gas. Select Kroger stores now allow redeeming fuel points for groceries now as well.

Deal is valid online and in-store. Remember to use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases. There is also a Chase offer for 10% back.

    The deal is back for 2 weeks this time:

    Both third-party gift cards and $25/$50/$100 Visa/MC gift cards are 6/25/25 through 7/8/25, and this time the picture agrees with the text on the dates.

    At least at my local Kroger store Ralphs, there's another big coupon change this week:

    There's not the typical Friday-only 4x on most non-gift-card items.

    Instead, there's a 4x on Simple Truth (one of the Kroger house brands) which is good for one week (6/25 through 7/1/25), classified as a Fuel Points Event the way the Friday-only 4x used to be.

    I wonder if not having the Friday-only 4x has anything to do with the strike that major brand grocery store workers, including Ralphs in my area, are considering doing very soon?

    • I have the typical Friday-only 4x non-gift-card digital coupon good tomorrow June 27. So, must be specific to your store or your account as to why you don't have it.

      • Actually, I do have the Friday-only 4x non-gift card digital coupon too now.

        It apparently was just delayed, because on Thursday morning it appeared in my account, but was not showing on Wednesday morning at all, while all the gift card coupons appeared on Wednesday morning.

        Today on the news they're announcing that they're looking into new negotiations between the strikers and the management, so maybe that had something to do with the delay? I don't know. It just seems like a funny coincidence.

        • The general 5x for Friday only is back for this coming 7/4 Friday, and btw the 4x on Simple Truth (which did stack for me last Friday with the general 5x for Friday only!) is back 7/2 through 7/8.

          • And, just to document it: Once again, today the 4x coupon for Friday only and the 4x coupon on Simple Truth once again stacked for me.

    Deal is back for a few days but with confusing dates.

    My local Kroger store Ralphs says it's June 20 through June 22 for both most third-party gift cards and $25/$50/$100 Visa/MC gift cards, but the graphic they show for third-party gift cards says through June 23.

  • FYI, this tracked for an extra 5% off on giftcards.com on my Chase Sapphire Preferred. I had no clue giftcards.com was linked with Kroger gift cards but now I see they are both Blackhawk networds. I was buying $225 in gift cards to get 90 cents in fuel points (since I already had 10 cents) to save $1/gal off so was nice to get an additional $11.25 that I wasn't expecting.

    Now it's back, for two weeks this time.

    My local Kroger store, Ralphs, has both the third-party gift cards and the $25/$50/$100 Visa/MC gift cards at 4x, with 6/4 through 6/17 as the valid dates.

    Plus it has two 200 bonus fuel points coupons, one for buying a Delta air lines gift card, and one for buying a Macy's coupon.

    I don't know if these 200 bonus fuel points coupons are across all Kroger stores, or only at Ralphs or select Kroger brands, because I've never seen that discussed before.

  • The 4X Kroger digital coupon I have says 5/30 to 6/02. But this article says 5/30 only.

    • Which one? I just checked at Ralphs, and while they extended the third-party gift cards coupon to 6/02, they don't to have extended the $25/$50/$100 Visa/MC gift card coupon, because it's not showing any more.

      The article says 5/30 because that's what it said earlier. At some point they obviously changed it.

      @2 , I don't know fi you want to modify the above or not, since it's complicated. Apparently they extended the third-party gift card to 6/02, but not the $25/$50/$100 Visa/MC gift card. So it might be tricky to modify the headline above to factor all of that in.

  • I never shop Kroger (Mariano's for me) but I do have the coupon for 4x and fee free so I'll pick up a gift card with a 10% Chase offer. My question is: What does 4x points get you? 800 points? And that can only be redeemed at their gas station? TIA

    • A $100 gift card will net you 100x4= 400 fuel points i.e redemmable at their gas stations for a 40 cents off discount on the next fill up. Can do at Shell gas too but theirs per gallon is a bit higher than Kroger's, so Kroger always gets my sale.

      • I don't think it's Shell at all Kroger family stores. I've heard that it's other gas brands in other locations.

        And Kroger gas is only of value if it's near to you. In some city locations, it's hard to find a Kroger which has gas facilities nearby. Where I live, it's 18 miles away to the closest Kroger gas location, on freeways which are often congested.

    when you load $150 or more on (1) Visa® or Mastercard® Variable Load Gift Card. Redeem 5/28/2025 - 6/3/2025."

    Similar offers at HT have never worked for me, at least not without intervention.

    • Thank you for posting the no fee on variable for the next few days, works nicely with chase offers for HT most people are seeing and getting. For it though, you have to go to the front. Make sure the person at the front is higher level than the regular employees, it will go more quickly. Have the coupon on your phone ready to show them.

      • Thanks for highlighting the Chase offer, but: The one I'm seeing seems to only be delivery orders. It says: "Offer valid online only."
