Our Verdict
This is quite a nice savings on its own, and there’s probably some stacking opportunity here too which is eluding me at the moment.
Update: I knew I was forgetting something(s)! Readers note the following stacks:
- Use AmEx card for 10% back with AmEx Offer
- Use AmEx card to use up the $200 Home Furnishing credit from American Express signup bonus
- Use AmEx card which has the 5x points referrer offer
- Use Chase Sapphire Reserve card to cash out Ultimate Rewards points via Pay Yourself Back
- Use Chase Freedom/Flex card to get 5x with the Q2 2021 quarterly category
- Card-linked programs: 3x JetBlue points per $1 or 0.5 Caesars Reward Credit per $1 (I think those use the same back end and you can not get both, but I do not know for sure)
The deal seems to be an unadvertised one as I don’t see it in the Lowe’s weekly ad. It might only be running in some stores and not others, let us know if you see it in yours.
