Lyft unveiled today a new rewards program for business which will incentivize employees 6-8% back in Lyft Rewards when they ride with the business account:
- Get 6% back on standard work rides (includes: Standard, Priority, XL, Pet, Wheelchair, Green)
- Get 8% back on premium rides (includes: Black, Black SUV, Extra Comfort)
- Get 8% back on airport and scheduled rides
It’s a bit strange to give rewards to the employees who are using the account. Seems like Lyft is trying to incentive employees of big companies to choose Lyft over Uber since they just expense it to the company, regardless.
I’m not sure exactly what classifies as a business account and whether anyone is eligible to set up a business account.
