Mcd’s fries have really “dropped off” (as the kids say). My fries were fresh and hot but tasted incredibly bland, just tasteless carbs. Sad to say, even best case scenario, the fries are “mid”. I miss the old days of the golden arches.

how’s mcd fries these days? the few times I tried this year right in the mcd restaurants had been soggy and super thin like shoestrings
They are exactly the same as they were for the last 20 years.
Order no salt and get fresh fries. Add your own salt
this seemed to do the trick. but I also tried a different mcd. in the end, I got the good old crispy fries this time. the only disappointment was that they only filled the box half way, so the order was at least one size down
The best fries are the freshest fries. And mcdonalds is usually busy so IMO they have among the best fries, depends when/where you go of course
