Our Verdict
Pretty good deal if you have a Meijer near you. Shame there isn’t one for Mastercard’s as well like last time. Make sure you use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases.

There is a 6.95 activation fee. Plus it’ll be hard to stock up because it would require you to make multiple MPerks accounts due to one $200 card per account. Decent enough deal if paired with a 5% ($12.90 total profit) or 6% ($14.87 total profit) cash back card and you have one nearby, but doesn’t make much per purchase.
Is there an activation fee like the visa cards at Best Buy? There’s no Meijers anywhere I live but I happen to be going on vacation in another state this weekend and the timing is perfect for stocking up.
