[Expired] Meijer Mperks: $10 Off $150 On Mastercard Giftcards

Deal has expired, view more Meijer deals here.

The Offer

Direct link to offer (search for Mastercard)

  • Meijer is offering $10 off when you purchase $150 or more in Mastercard gift cards

The Fine Print

  • Valid until July 27th, 2018
  • Must clip coupon

Our Verdict

Meijer sells $200 Mastercard gift cards, so this is a profitable deal especially when you use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases (keep in mind not all Meijer code as grocery correctly). Limit of one is obviously annoying.

Can you redeem these MasterCard ones in Venmo? I bought some visa ones on the last promo like this and some of them worked in Venmo while others didn’t. Anyone having any luck with redeeming them through Venmo?

Hi DoC, Publix has a 100 vgc 10off coupon as well!

 William Charles

Looks like the coupon has been fixed and now works with the new variable loads. (And they have MasterCards up to $500.)
I used both mine and spouses account to purchase a $500 card each yesterday.

That makes this a considerably better deal.

– hard to beat a $4 Money Maker before you calculate the value of points and spend. (And I find $500 cards are much more “worth my time” when it comes to purchase and liquidation.)

WARNING:

I didn’t receive the $10 off when I bought a $500 variable load. My store didn’t have the usual ones in the mostly gold package and only had ones that were pinstripe package sort of like wrapping paper. (Was still a u.s. bank MasterCard. They had a whole bunch of them in the place the gold ones usually are.).

I’ll try the gold one if the other store in town happens to have it. Any other reports?

Note;. Expiration date of March 2027. Quite a bit later than the ones they’ve been selling. I wonder if they haven’t put these in the coupon system yet or something?

Same here for $500 variable. No coupon applied to an order. Supervisor has to manually adjusted the price.
They only had $100 and $50 on shelf. Buying them separately would have not yield any saving.

Did your store have the variables in the gold packaging or the new kind?

Its a new kind. I belive sku.# may be different. Also site and customer service # were different. Though it worked for liquidation.

The fix variant of $200 did worked without any override.

There is also a $.50 off per gallon when you spend $50 in store. Buying a gift card shouldn’t trigger this, but I’m going to add and see if I can spend $50 before the promotion ends.

(It doesn’t state whether it has to be in one transaction, if anyone gets it to work with no spend, or doing multiple transactions, then let me know.

I don’t have Meijer in my area, but at Kroger/Ralph’s, those kinds of paper and e-coupons have always required spending the stated amount in a single transaction. I’d be surprised if this was any different, if it doesn’t specifically say you can do it in multiple.

Use them to buy things as you would any debit card.

My Meijer Typically sells these too, but has been sold out most times i go recently (Even when they aren’t running this promotion.)

In fact, I don’t recall seeing any since the last time I bought everything off the shelf? Maybe they are having trouble getting these in stock?

I’ve been told by line level management at my local store that their gift card racks are stocked by a 3rd party vendor so they have limited control over which ones show up on the racks. I don’t know if this is true, but it seems believable to me.

I more meant to say what is the fee. I’ve never bought them before was thinking about getting into just wanted to see if it was worth it

I think the fees are pretty standard at all/most places that sell these, tiered based on the value of card you’re buying. The range is about $4-$8. Someone on SD bought a variable-load MGC at Safeway when they did a similar deal last month, and the fee for that type of card was $5.95 there. That’s probably your best option, to do this all with one card/fee.
