The Offer
- Mesh Payments is offering a $500 bonus when you spend $400+ with Mesh card
Our Verdict
Mesh Payments looks to be a complete payments solution, rather than just a dedicated business credit card. You need to request a demo to be eligible, so I assume they will do some business vetting as well. Doesn’t look to be any fees for using Mesh that I could find. Mesh has raised $13 million in Venture Capital. We won’t add this to our list of the best business credit cards until we have some more details and reader experiences.

FYI, I received 1% cash back for a Venmo payment using the virtual card.
Yea, I just got 1% back for paying some hospital bills. Interesting that my initial $400 charge to trigger the $500 bonus didn’t get cash back, but paying these bills two months later did.
$500 posted. This was a super easy offer. Happy I did it. Also going to do the $50 walkthrough.
same
Mine was posted too!. I’ll do the $50 walkthrough now.
Thank you all
12/25 – Sent $400 to P2 using the virtual card on Venmo
1/6 – received the following email: “Hello mothman69, My name is Iriel and I am part of the dedicated Customer Success team here at Mesh. I hope that the New Year is off to a great start for you. I wanted to let you know that your $500 bonus will soon be available in your Mesh account! In the meantime, I would love to hear what are your business needs for 2022. I’d be happy to go over our platform together for a quick demo, and will add another $50 bonus for your time. When would be a good time for us to speak? You can book a meeting directly in my calendar here
Best, Iriel”
The video chat happens on Google Meet and will take about 30 mins. They ask about your experience with Mesh and also about your business operations. Then they will screenshare and walk through the Mesh website and all the different features. Easy $50.
1/10 – $500 bonus and $50 bonus posted
talk about cutting it close. account opened earlier in december but just got around to funding it on monday. $400 posted today and i made a $400 purchase which should post today or tomorrow. will update when the $500 bonus posts. note you will have to load the $500 bonus to a mesh card and cash it out. kind of annoying but i would imagine that could prevent a 1099?
According to a CSR they “do not have any plans for another signup bonus for a while.” Did anyone do this one successfully?
I signed up, got the account after some emailing and a quick phone interview, funded it with $500 and spent $400 before Christmas. No bonus yet.
I’m pretty sure you can just sign up at this link to bypass the whole scheduling a phone call nonsense: https://app.meshpayments.com/
Also, you can find your Mesh account number and routing number by going to Add/Load Balance, enter at least $50, select Manual Local Bank Transfer, hit Next, and then Confirm Load. Then it provides you with the account information and tells you to make the transfer from your external bank account. It will also show that load amount on the Balance page under Pending Loads. I’m guessing it will disappear after so long if you never actually send the money. I’ve never seen anything like it…it seems very backwards.
Easy process. Just need to get on the phone a couple times to get vetted and guided through the setup process. I funded my account with $500 through Plaid verification. Once funding hits I can generate a virtual visa card to spend the required $400 to get the $500 bonus. No hard pull from my experience since no credit being extended. This is similar to Brex account.
Did you receive the bonus?
Waiting on funding of my Mesh account and supposedly a virtual card can be generated to start spending. I have not received any bonus yet but will update once I have jumped through the next hoops.
Jman any update on the bonus posting ? I’m waiting myself
Account was just funded. I now need to put $400 of spend on the card before 12/31. No bonus yet.
Got confirmation via email that I can expect my $500 bonus in the next few days. Additionally, I was offered another $50 for scheduling a phone interview and discussing the platform
Jman what did you put for the questions answers (# employees, monthly spend etc)
I have a real business so I just answered truthfully. I can’t remember all the questions, but I answered 2 or more employees and $10k per month on credit cards.
I got thru the initial hoops and had a video. call. Bottom line is I think you should stay away. Here are the red flags:
1. Could schedule the call for practically any time including 6:30 am EST
2. Names of the emails that I received and the people I allegedly spoke with didn’t seem to match
3. Person I spoke with seemed too rough around the edges to be in sales. (hoodie, background, presentation)
4. Person I spoke with wanted me to make a deposit and then they would issue my a virtual card number. Deposit would be protected by the FBO agency?
Thank you for your interest in Mesh Payments. I’m sorry to inform you that at this time, you are not qualified for a Mesh account.
Same here. Real small business with a legit business website.
Same. Also real business. Maybe he got the DOC effect 😉
I’m assuming they are looking for larger businesses. Too bad, I was hopeful.
Assume no personal HP? can anybody confirm? I have real biz. Looking to happen
