Nakedwines.com, Get 12 Bottles for $29.99 Shipped by Stacking Signup Offer, Amex Offer, and Portal

An anonymous reader sent in a tip for a wine deal from nakedwines.com.

  • They have an offer to get a case of wine for $179.99. Not sure if that’s available to everyone or only new customers.
  • They also have $100-off voucher for new customers. Just Google ‘$100 off nakedwines.com’ and you’ll find it. They’ll may put you through a 2-minute quiz first, depending on the link you use, then they’ll ask for your email, then they’ll send the voucher code to your email a few minutes later.
  • American Express has an Amex Offer to get $25 off $50. I can’t seem to find it on a few cards I checked, but I believe it’s a widely available offer.
  • Topcashback is offering $25 for a purchase from Nakedwines.com. I don’t quite understand the terms of the TCB deal, so don’t count on it tracking, but it tracked for the reader who did this deal so hopefully it’ll track for everyone. (If you got the $100 voucher code using a site like Retailmenot, be sure to click through Topcashback AFTER getting the voucher so that Retailmenot doesn’t steal your cookies. Or get the voucher code using a different browser than you use to make the purchase.)

In the end, you’ll pay $79.99 for the case, and get $25 back from Amex and another $25 back from Topcashback if all works out. In most states it’ll cost a bit more due to taxes.

Their wines are garbage but prob worth the $2-3 per bottle 🙂

Yeah, just go buy Winking Owl from Aldi. Way less hassle and probably at least as good.

You can choose to not take their bundle, and pick your own. There are definitely wines that are on par with grocery store stuff, so 12 bottles for 25$ is a good deal.

Snorlax
Snorlax

Can’t buy wine at Aldi (or any other grocery store) in most of the northeast.

Still not bad for the holiday season to gift or bring to a party. I can’t get wine for less than this in my state.

They also have a 9 bottle case for $160 that they will email you a link to if you register the voucher but do not it. That’s what I decided to use this deal for instead.

Also, don’t forget to cancel your angel account after getting the wine. Otherwise they add $40/month to your angel “piggybank.”

The “Angel” thing was optional for the 12 bottles for $79.99 deal, no need to join that.

Doc, I can confirm this works. I actually did exactly this a few days ago (stacking TCB and Amex offer) and should have them delivered today. No code is needed though – it automatically does the $79.99 price. I have a $79.99 charge on my Amex Blue Biz, the $25 Amex credit already posted in my account, and TCB shows $26.25 pending (it was $1.25 higher when I did it). Cost came out to $2.40 per bottle for 12 bottles.

I also did the Winc wine offer the same day. eBates has a coupon for $20 off AND $20 cash back. I ultimately spent $56 and have a $15 Amex credit already on my account (same card) and $20 cash back already confirmed in my eBates account. I got 5 bottles for $4.20 per bottle (could have been less if I got cheaper wines, but I went with some higher rated ones/types I’d more likely enjoy).

There’s also a deal for $75/$25 for Ester & Ethyl Wines and same for WineInsiders.com, as well as a few other offers, but those didn’t look as good and/or can’t stack with a good cash back deal. Cheers!

Justin

Thanks for the Winc Wines tip. I should be getting 5 bottles for $19!

Ray

FYI on Winc: looks like AAdvantage has $25 off your order and 2,000 AA miles.

daxihe
daxihe

Winc actually looks like a money-maker. You buy two orders at ~$25 each (after $30 off, choose 4 cheapest bottles), charge to the same Amex card, pay ~$50 and get $15 back from Amex and 4000 AA miles from portal.

daxihe
daxihe

Caution: double check your order after it’s placed. I ran into a case that a bottle of wine is somehow missing in the final order and a shipping fee is charged. Even worse it may make you miss the Amex offer by a couple bucks.

You bet!

Winc is a membership….don’t forget to cancel.

Thanks for pointing out the Winc Wines deal! Looks like they’re adding an additional $5 off, so my order comes out to 5 bottles for $18.95.

You’re welcome! HTH!

Thanks for the detailed information. I can’t find the Winc offer on any cards, and I have many. Did you find it on something specific?

can also confirm it works. TopCashBack tracked like a champ and AO email came immediately

Onsale
Onsale

Superchurn How long did you have to wait before TopCashBack tracked the purchase? I bought this last night. It’s showing up pending on American Express and nothing is showing up in TopCasBack.

Superchurn
Superchurn

it was less than an hour. maybe 45 min or so before i saw the transaction in TCB

Frugal_Squirrel
Frugal_Squirrel

Onsale I did this twice (using two different TCB accounts & Amex cards) and the first one tracked fast, but the second one which was done late Friday night hasn’t shown up in TCB yet. I wonder if this is because orders don’t get processed by Naked on weekends….if this is the case, it may not track for us until Monday.

Im seeing the intro offer for 89.99. Net $39.99 after TCB and Amex. Maybe they just bumped the price or its my browser?

Same here. Don’t know how to get 79.99 to work.

Same, I only see $89.99.

Same here! Price went up to $89.99

Showed up as $79.99 for me just now, after you all posted.

You have to click the link from RetailMeNot get the Code and Password then go back and click through Topcashback and enter in the code and password from there.

Sounds like some portal in portal inception. Nothing is mentioned above about RetailMeNot. Looks like it’s simply a price increase.

Yosk
Yosk

Retailmenot is mentioned above (maybe it was added after your comment?) However, I too am only getting $89.99 to show up, even when using the RMN method.

Max

The offer seems to depend on the claimed state of residence (which is asked at the beginning). E.g., the site behaves differently for CA and VA residents.

Yosk
Yosk

Helpful to know. I got $89.99 and live in Colorado

Linda

$89.99 for me too. I tried going incognito, but no luck.

Funny, I checked them out about 5 years ago and agree that it was garbage, but a friend recently joined and brought over a couple bottles they sent him and they were actually quite good for the price point. I was going to do this when I just had the Amex offer. Great to hear about the extra topcashback offer!

BC
BC

You also don’t need to take the pre-selected box. Shop around the site and pick what you like. I actually used a $50 coupon instead and along with the $25 amex and $25 TCB picked up 6 nice bottles of New Zealand Sav Blanc for about $4 each. Great! TCB posts in about an hour.

Tim
Tim

$4 each? Before coupons was that the regular price or angel price?

BC
BC

Regular price – 6 bottles at 19.99 less the $50 credit. Then less TCB.

Just as a PSA (not pasting a referral link!) far and away the best intro offer I’ve gotten on a wine club shipment recently was Firstleaf. They do a first 3 bottles for $20 deal ($5/bottle + $5 shipping) and the wine was excellent. Occasionally they’ll go even cheaper on the first three.

I actually kept the subscription up through my next shipment at full price and was still happy with the value, but paused it because I don’t go through enough bottles for regular monthly deliveries. It’s the only wine club I’ve ever really seriously considering staying in long-term.

lenin1991

Agree with Firstleaf recommendation! (Well, for the first shipment — I wouldn’t continue.) Wine was ok, and stacks with airline shopping portals.

TomTX

Did that offer via the AA portal. First bottle was OK, but I love the Stalwart Ship Monastrell

Just tried RetailMeNot->TopCashBack, still got $89.99. I think that actually tips me against firing, given uncertainty about getting the TCB $$ (and about the wine).

If anyone has a method for getting the $79.99 price back, post it

Superchurn
Superchurn

same…89.99 still worth it though

Yosk
Yosk

Agree, I still went ahead and got it at $89.99 – still comes out to $3.33 a bottle after TCB and Amex Offers. And I got my TCB confirmation a few hours after ordering, so I wouldn’t be too worried about it.

89.99 for me to. Stacked with the DOC $25 offer to join topcash along with the current $25 offer and Amex $25 offer. 12 bottles for $1.66 each. If it sucks I can just give it away for Christmas presents. As usually thanks for the great deal DOC!!!

I’ve never used TopCashBack site but I saw a lot of comments from you review 4 years ago calling it a scam. Is site better now?

Yosk

Not a scam, have definitely gotten money from TopCashBack.

Snorlax

It was never a scam, I’ve been using it for years.

Wine snob here… their wine is actually really decent. Good value and lots of interesting stuff. It is essentially crowd funded wine with many famous wine makers able to make wines off label that aren’t what usually sells by their usual brands. Plus they give you a gift 12th bottle (of their liking) with any 11 bottle order. Often these are really cool gifts (right now, a nice magnum Sonoma cab sauv)

Happy to share my referral link (which gives you the $100 coupon code) as a genuine member for the last 5 years.

Don’t post referral links here, it’s against the rules.

Please note that the $100 offer from Nakedwines.com is not valid for Texas. Check your state for applicability. Great wines though, and a distributor that reinvests proceeds in helping smaller winemakers make their best possible wine.

One additional point might be worth mentioning, after purchasing the 12-bottle case for $89, on the order confirmation screen I am presented the option to join their Angel waitlist, and get an additional 3 free bottles of wine just for joining the waitlist.

Of course we all here love free things, but I’m not sure what the catch is here, if any. It says you can cancel anytime no consequences, so is it worth clicking Yes to get the additional 3 bottles? Or is it a PITA to get off the list? Doesn’t seem like it costs anything upfront.

Seems like that makes the deal potentially even more interesting, but I can’t decide if I want to go ahead or not…

Any thoughts about this?

Max
Max

Great question. I must have mistakenly joined the waiting list – I got an email saying there are “25K+ people ahead of me.” On the page that describes the Angel program, it says you “invest” $40/month, so maybe that’s the catch? I didn’t see anything about 3 free bottles but I wasn’t reading the fine print.

This was a nice deal even at $89. TCB posted quickly as did the Amex credit. Ordered Saturday, arrived Monday. $3.75/bottle for me – though that’s almost double the price of Martha Stewart deal.

Tim
Tim

“I didn’t see anything about 3 free bottles but I wasn’t reading the fine print.”

On the button to join the waiting list, it said something like “join now and get a free gift of 3 bottles (worth $59.95) while you wait”.

I went ahead and clicked to join, and I haven’t yet gotten any confirmation of the 3 extra bottles deal, though I notice that in my list of “wines to review”, it lists 15 bottles, not the 12 that I ordered. (There’s the 12 I ordered, plus 3 extra wines that I didn’t order) So I’m hoping that implies that there’s 3 free bottles coming my way?

Max
Max

Ah that makes sense – sounds like you’re getting the 3 free. I only have 12 to review. Make sure you look into cancelling if there’s a monthly fee that you don’t want charged.

Dougie
Dougie

I’ve read they do start charging you a monthly subscription fee once you become an Angel, so if you’re bound to forget that you signed up, here’s the link to cancel/get off the waiting list:

Probably better to take the 6-bottle deal for $40 plus tax and a filler (use the tote bag if you don’t want to spend $4 more for another bottle of wine) to make the total slightly over $50 .. then get $25 back from Amex and $25 back from TCB and what you pay out of pocket is less than $10.

Everett
Everett

I went this route a couple days ago and was able to get 6 bottles of wine and a wine tote (which is actually pretty nice) for $54. TCB and Amex rebates have already posted, bringing my grand total to $0.60 per bottle! Woooot!

Lia
Lia

May I know how to get 6 bottles for 40$? Do you need a special code and password? How to get it? When I went to the site, it asked me to either enter my own code/password, or using the default 100$ off voucher which does not apply to 6 bottles.
