[OOS] Olive Garden Never Ending Pasta Pass: 9 Weeks/Lifetime Pass For $100/$500

Update 8/15/19: Deal live today

Update 8/6/19: It looks like they are doing some sort of alternate reality game/puzzle. The page for the never ending pasta pass, has some sort of riddle and some of the words are links to facebook posts with pictures. I’m guessing the first 50 people to solve it will receive the lifetime pass or something similar. Goodluck! Hat tip to reader David Smith

Our Verdict

Last year it was 8 weeks for the same price, so this is an additional 1 week for free. They got rid of the yearly pass this year and replaced it with an extremely limited number of lifetime passes. I’d forget about the lifetime pass, but looks like you can just buy the regular pass to have a shot at the lifetime pass so that’s a plus. These passes can be incredible value if you’re happy to eat at the same place over and over again during a nine week period.  Some restaurants even let you do take out orders if you order too much food, but that varies by restaurant. Goodluck to everybody who goes for this one!

Has anyone experienced that it annoys your server when you try to give them the Pasta Pass when ordering, as the text on the card states to do? Seems like they don’t know what to do with it and just want it when you go to pay. I wonder why Olive Garden states to do it that way, when it’s obvious that their people aren’t prepared and don’t want it that way.

Thanks for the post! My two lunch buddies and I were able to secure our passes. Had read the passes sell out in a few seconds so we had multiple browsers and computers/iPads ready to go in case one was faster than another. And yes, the passes did sell out within seconds since I was only able to click buy on two browsers even though I had 5 or so open at the same time. Would not have known about it without this post!

Usually you are encouraged by restaurants to tip on the value of the meal regardless of the price paid.

Many even go as far as to print out a detailed receipt with the full price of everything ordered, then show the discount, then reference the full price near the tip section or suggest % tips based on the full value.

Tips are optional, but remember you are probably going to be frequenting this place at least weekly over the next 9 weeks and will get better service if you follow this social norm. You are already getting a good deal, don’t be cheap.

Out of curiosity, I was able to get through to the checkout screen. I called the wife and asked if it was worth it, but we realized we haven’t been to Olive Garden in about 4 years so I released the pass. I hope someone else got it!

What a bs. Literally mashed the buy now button from seconds before the sale starts and it immediately says sold out.

All the passes sold out in less than a minute… what just happened?
Edit: I really dont believe they all sold out that fast, it may have just been a fake ad.
