The Offer
- PayPal is offering a $5 USD reward towards your next in-store purchase with PayPal and Google Pay or Samsung Pay.
The Fine Print
- Â Eligible Participants must link their PayPal account to their Google Pay or Samsung Pay account, during the Qualification Period. Only the first linking of a PayPal account to either a Google Pay or Samsung Pay account will qualify for the reward.
- Once qualified for, the Reward will be applied automatically to the Eligible Participant’s next Eligible Purchase made during the Redemption Period using the Valid Account that qualified for the Reward. The Reward must be redeemed during the Redemption Period and may only be redeemed as described in these terms & conditions. Use of the Reward will be reflected on the Eligible Participant’s PayPal receipt and/or in the transaction details of his/her PayPal account. There is a limit of one (1) Reward per Valid Account.

Our Verdict
Basically you need to link your PayPal account to Google Pay/Samsung Pay and then the offer should appear. Seems like people are having more success with Google Pay, so I’d start with that and if it doesn’t work then try Samsung Pay. You can only do the deal once (e.g can’t do it on both Google & Samsung Pay). Basically a free $5, not a huge amount but you can’t complain too much really.
