Our Verdict

If you’re new to Plenti then start by reading this post. Plenti points are worth 1¢ when redeeming with their partners so this should be useful to some people. Some of these rates are significantly better than what other portals are offering (e.g Best Buy’s top rate is 2%). As always make sure you compare to other portals using something like cash back monitor. Seems to only be for existing members, but they have offered similar bonuses in the past as well so probably doesn’t hurt to open an account now.

Does MacBook Pro 2017 count as newly released product? If it does, I may need to go to Discover deal, since it does not exclude MacBook Pro 2017

the 7% deal at Staples does not work, as the merchant reports the sales. T&C of Staples and Plenti states GC are not valid for points, just like all the other portals with Staples. basically just used my ink for the points as always.

Ofcourse GC purchases won’t trigger portal points. However it works on other items. I had a Plenti 10X offer on Staples earlier this month which I used to buy a 3rd party item (sold & shipped by 3rd party) on Staples.com AND used Staples GC. Plenti points credited as expected.

the T&C for Apple says “Newly released products may not be eligible.” Unfortunately I wouldn’t count on this posting for the new apple watch…

Aww, I was just thinking about doing a return on my series 3 and rebuying it! Would have been great!

targeted! I just signed up, from this post, and didn’t get “7x” anything.

I don’t think this is targeted in traditional sense. More like offers released as a batch to all existing members and are not offered to new members after release. A reasonable method to control against someone creating many new accounts when a one time use offer is released and double-dipping.

FYI, all these bonus point offers are one time use like the last round. I need to call them about a Newegg order only awarding 9x bonus on 1/3 of an order since Newegg reported it as 3 orders due to 3 separate shipments even though it was a single cart checkout. Hope Plenti doesn’t fight with me but I doubt they understand how Newegg works.

Hey Doc. Would it be possible to stack this offer with the current Amex double point targeted offer for Best Buy?

Yeah that will work no problem. Amex offer is merchant charge based. Plenti offer is click though cashback portal based.

Just disable ad blocker, click Plenti offer link, add items to cart, checkout and pay with Amex in one session and you should be good.

I had Amex Offer work for Best Buy phone order as well. Phone will not work for Plenti though.
