Our Verdict
Max this out with a $200 purchase. Raise has been running lots of promos recently. The good cards go fast.
Remember to use your Chase Freedom card and a mobile payment method in the Raise app if you haven’t maxed out your Freedom yet. Also, try using a shopping portal on the purchase. There’s usually a lifetime max of how much you can earn across all shopping portals on Raise purchases, but it can’t hurt to try. Looks like up to 5 miles with British and up to 2% back with some portals.
Combine this with swagbucks for 2 SB per $1. I like swagbucks over the other rebate portals because it usually pays out in a few weeks rather than having to wait months and months on the other sites.
Whenever they run such site wide promotion, they reduce discounts on most of the gift cards.
Most are 3rd party sellers, in the GC reselling / miles game who are also reading DoC and the like. Same as when Ebay runs a Bucks promo, good time to raise the price of your reselling goods.
I don’t think they do, just the better value ones sell out.
Pretty sure these sitewide offers are triggered whenever I make a purchase.
I tried to use topcashback and the app yesterday and was having issues. Not sure that it will track, when I click through topcashback app it would bring you the website instead of launching the app. There was an option to launch the app on the top and when i hit that the Raise app would launch but then shut off. Anyone have success tracking shopping portal and using mobile app for Raise?
