Our Verdict
This is a pretty sweet deal! 7% is as good as it gets, and it’s nice that they increased the max on this deal to $20 instead of the standard $10.
A reader sent this one in, apparently it’ll be advertised shortly for everyone (probably at midnight CT) and was sent out to select people already now. If it’s not working for you now, try again after midnight, should be live then for everyone.
The better cards usually go fast. Remember to use a shopping portal, just keep in mind the lifetime limitations there.
I went through the Topcashback portal for the potential of 5% cashback and the cashback posted as pending overnight. It’d be great if the cashback stacked with this code!
TCB raise cashback never works for me. I just use ebates from now on.. its only 1% but it always works other than these other sites.
Only codes listed on TCB should receive cashback (according to their terms). Even if they are Raise.com codes, they also have to be shown on TCB.
In theory that’s how it’s supposed to work, but in practice I think it becomes a little more murky, since a lot of times cashback still tracks when using an unapproved code.
That’s the way it worked for me too, at first. But I got tired of filing missing cashback claims and constantly following up on them, only to finally be told that codes not found on TCB weren’t allowed.
It’s on. Spend up to $285.78 (if my math is right) on any gift cards and get an extra 7% off…
Use code BOLT to get an extra 7% off discounted gift cards. Maximum savings $20. To redeem, sign in and apply code in the promo box at checkout. Not valid on cash back gift cards. Cannot be combined with any additional offers. Limit one-time use within date of promotion. Offer expires 04/19/19 11:59 PM CST. One use per household.
Your math is wrong, it is 285.71.
FYI, I have seen the same code on mr.rebates either yesterday or this morning, stacked it with mr.rebates 8% cashback. (Chances are it won’t stack but there’s no such a restriction on mr.rebates website.)
These usually stack with Mr. Rebates. Now someone buy my sunglass hut cards.
Mr. Rebates sent me a confirmatory email, so at least in theory it is stacking.

Good to know.
How long they took to send an email?
I’ve bought Hotels.com egift card from raise through Mr Rebates at around 2AM EST. So far not received any email from them confirming the cashback.
Got my confirmation about 6.5 hours after my purchase so pretty quick. Another $22 back on top of the $20 off makes it quite a sweet deal if you can still find any available cards to buy.
