Our Verdict
These are my choice for the best noise cancelling headphones. I was going to upgrade to the Bose 700 but after reading reviews I’m going to stick with these for now. This is a great price, although possible we will see them even less during Black Friday sales I guess.
I took a risk and ordered a pair of XM3 from same seller for 215. So far so good. Package shipped via Fedex and arrived undamaged in original, plastic-wrapped, packaging.
I have both Bose QC 35 II and Sony XM3 headphones. I prefer Sony because XM3 has better sound quality and noise cancellation. They have the same comfort level for me (extremely comfortable).
My husband was in the Bose store in DE yesterday. He tried the noise cancelling earbuds. The sales person told him not to buy them BECAUSE a new model is due shortly. That is all I know!
I ordered these off Amazon yesterday for $300. Oh well.

$179 w/ no tax was the best price for Sony XM3 last week if you could shop at AAFES.com (current military and veterans).
