- Hyatt Amazon Prime Partnership by Single Flyer. Hyatt have done these surveys before and nothing has come from it, so don’t get too excited. I really want them to bring back the 10% points back benefit.
- New Expedia + Business Rewards Program Double Dips by The Deal Mommy. Might have to look into this more for stays over $50. $100 credit per 10 nights, 2% back in rewards plus 3% in cash back from a shopping portal.
- Money Order Questions by Mile Nerd. Money orders are more trouble than their worth in my opinion. Risk simply outweighs the reward for me.
- Barclaycard has been sending out offers for free TripIt Pro to some Barclaycard Arrival cardholders. Not everybody got the offer and calling doesn’t seem to help.
- Manufactured Spend & Money Orders: What You Need to Know to Stay Out of Legal Trouble Miles to Memories.
- $5 for your next purchase using Top Cash Back via @kulam_batur. Obviously targeted, but check your e-mails anyway.
- Credit Karma recently just hit 50 million users as well. Read our review of the service here.
Structuring is arranging your cash deposits and cash withdrawals so that they are below $10,000.00 in a single transaction. Money orders don’t count. They’re categorized as checks for Teller/Reporting purposes.
If you withdrew 10,000.01 or more or deposited that amount or more a Currency Transaction Report (CTR) would have to be completed. Tellers are forbidden by the federal government to detail CTR rules and will say so and give you a pamphlet explaining the rules. Please don’t give them a hard time about it.
Depending on the frequency of use for TopCashBack there are also targeted Valentines day offers for $10 bonus on next purchase. Check you email expires 2/6/16
