The WSJ article is a bit of a departure from the usual topics of this blog.

The entire idea that either we don’t screen people currently, or that foreigners coming to the US are a major threat is laughable. Almost all terrorist attacks in the US are by home grown radicals. The focus on “vetting” and the threat of foreigners will do nothing to keep us safer, and is security theater.

Over 1000 state department employees agreed, and signed a memo pointing this out:

Yes. Clearly reason and logic are rebutted by going “you’re wrong.”

To have a point worth considering you’d need to provide compelling evidence that:
– foreign nationals pose an actual security threat (they don’t)
– that this threat is significant (it isn’t)
– the our existing vetting is poor (it isn’t)
– Trump administrations measures will in some way help. (they won’t)
– that the blow back from these measures won’t cause greater harm. (they will)

You didn’t provide any of that though, you just went “na ha” like a child.
I’d say your post is laughable.
Please sir, do not ever vote or procreate.

Oh no, this is gonna scare away the lucrative Syrian refugee tourist demographic. Aspen and Palm Beach are going to be really feeling the hurt from this one.

I bought my now wife’s engagement ring at Costco. I knew I wanted a ring from Costco specifically so I bought discounted Costco cash cards any time they popped up on CardCash or eBay, saved an average 3% on those, got 5x on the purchases with my Ink, then got an extra 2% from my Costco executive membership. Not as big of a discount as the person in the post above but I did still save about $500 and earn enough UR to cover 2 of the nights of our honeymoon stay at the Park Hyatt Maldives. Not bad if you ask me.

this is gold right here, thankfully my future wife is simple and basic so she picked a ring on etsy she liked which was under 300. Dodged a bullet there 😛

get ready for an extra question: “Are you a terrorist?” Yes / No
They will place right under the existing question: “Are you a communist?” Yes/No

Preventing the communists entering the US from the 1960s!

that would be such a sexist question. there should be more than just yes or no. there should be a “Maybe” and “Thinking About It” and “Depends On The Money” and “Decline To Comment”
