Referral Thread for American Express SPG Luxury Card 100,000 Points Signup Bonus

American Express is offering a sign up bonus of 100,000 points after $5,000 in spend within the first 3 months on the new SPG Luxury card. Card has a $450 annual fee. Please read our original post for all details on this offer.

Through August 25, 2018, there’s a unique opportunity to apply for this card being that it’s not yet subject to the lifetime rule. More on that in the original post.

Using a referral link to signup gives you the same signup bonus and terms as the direct signup link. The bonus for referring a friend is 20,000 Marriott points, up to 55,000 points per year. If you refer three people, you have already maxed out your referrals.

As per our new referral policy, we’ll have up this thread open to comments through August 25th and then close it to comments. We’ll also remove any comment not conforming to the rules (below).
If you have either the SPG Luxury card or the SPG personal card you can generate a referral for the Luxury card. This thread is for Luxury referrals only. [I’d guess either link will work for either card since the both cards show on the page.]

To those applying in the next few days for the SPG Luxury card, please use a reader’s referral link from the comments – you get the same bonus and help out a fellow reader. Try using the link of someone you’ve found helpful in the past. And please leave a comment telling them that you used their link (if the comments are still open).

I’ve had to remove around 75% of referrals posted, either because they added words in the comments (see Rules, below), or for using a link that doesn’t work.
