[Expired] Retailmenot App Deals at Staples, CVS, Macy’s & More

Deal has expired, view more Retailmenot deals by clicking here.

The Offers

  • Retailmenot has loaded some new offers into the app:
    • Staples: Spend $30 & get $4 back (valid until 01/31/19)
    • CVS: Spend $10 and get $2 back
    • Macy’s: Spend $50 and get $5 back
    • Journeys: Spend $40+ and get $5 back

The Fine Print

  • Expires 11/21/18 unless otherwise specified

Our Verdict

You can use the offer more than once, but you have to wait until you get paid the first time to add it and reuse it again. I believe there is a maximum of 10 per month.

Usually the terms excluded gift cards, in practice that hasn’t been enforced (but YMMV, plus there can always be s clawback). There’s a deal this week at Staples to get $5 off $200 Mastercard gift card.Older RMN deals can be found here.

caught the train late and only made about 20$ from buying ( CVS and staples) visa gift cards, today received this email for me and my SO’s account: looks like the retailmenot train came to stop for me for now. here is what says:

Your account appears to be in violation of our Cash Back Rewards Promotion Terms and/or our Terms of Use for fraudulent, abusive or suspicious activity. As a result, we have suspended your account. You will no longer be able to participate in RetailMeNot’s Cash Back programs. For your reference, our full promotion terms are provided here

Retailmenot is no longer reliable for me. My last Staples purchase has been pending for a week and a half now. Previously I received my money in 5 or 6 days after my purchase.

Mine has been pending that long as well. Not going to worry about it until it passes the “we’ll do our part by 11/19”

Retailmenot is now dead to me. They’ve caught on. I received an ineligible status on the CVS $5 Cash Back for my 10/29/18 instore purchase of $50+ and the $2 cashback offer has been sitting in limbo for some time now

Yep, they’ve caught on. I had two pending last week, Staples and Macy’s. Staples was deemed illegible (gift cards) and Macy’s paid out (legitimate purchase). It was a short run but a fun ride.

Also, my Staples reset to $2 back with $50.

My purchase was denied. According to RMN, my purchase was for $50.00, when in fact I made a $50.54 purchase. Anyway, this deal is now dead for me. It was good while it lasted. I’ve saved $185 from RMN, most of it on gift cards

CVS Offer has never worked for me. Tried twice. Staples and Walgreen always worked

Important to note the 10x per month doesn’t seem to apply, OR they changed the deal. The $10 off $75 at Staples no longer appears for me. I used it twice. I don’t know if it still shows up for others (in which case it would be limited use) or if the deal changed for everyone, but it was due to last much longer than it did.

Several conflicting dps about gcs at Staples recently. Did anyone get the $10/$75 to track recently by buying exactly $75.00 of gcs? Mine didn’t go pending 🙁

That’s why I buy an additional small item. The local Staples has a sales rack near the cash register which has some useful $.50 and $1.00 items

Yeah, I’m starting to think you need a non-gc item to trigger it now

Got $10 for first transaction( before 10/31) and then activated $10 for $75 spend again on 10/31. Went to staples on Nov 3, didn’t able to see $10 offer in RMN app In Store section but offer was still there on My Rewards section and purchase didn’t track. Activated $4 offer today and got credit of $4 for purchase made two days back.

Seems unpredictable when a new offer is rolled out while an old offer is still pending. . .

I did it 3 times, all 3 tracked without an additional item. YMMV of course.

My experience is that the in-store offers are only available via the app. Online offers are available both via the app and via the RMN website.

Has the Staples $5 off $200 expired? Link suggests so and nothing on their site

I don’t remember a $5 off $200 Staples offer. In October, there was a $10 off $75+ offer that is no longer available.

I am referring to the link Doc has above that refers to a Staples offer, not RMN

Are the offers in store, specifically the CVS one? I don’t have the RetailMeNot app.

Yes, in store for these.

You have to have the app to be able to link the offers and use in store offers.
