Robinhood has announced that they are adding support for cryptocurrency. Starting today they are adding some minor support (e.g watchlist, read news etc) for 16 different cryptocurrencies. Starting in February they will offer commission-free cryptocurrency trading for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). They will be releasing access in waves to the following states: California, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, and New Hampshire. In addition users need to join the waitlist found here.
Robinhood already provides commission free trades for their users. Making withdrawals has also been useful for hitting bank account bonuses direct deposit requirements.
