RoomiPay (pay rent with your credit card service) has sent out an e-mail to users of the service informing them of some changes. They will be making a formal announcement on May 20th but the main take away is that it will be a fixed 2% fee and you need to complete some verification steps. Currently Urbanr has the lowest fees for rent payments at 1.5%, but that requires the landlord to sign up as well. The other option is Plastiq, the standard fee is 2.5% but they often have discounts make that cheaper. The full e-mail sent out can be viewed below

Moving forward, RoomiPay will be available to verified Roomi users. You can then continue using RoomiPay at a 2% credit card fee.

Once logged in, go to your profile
Click on “Get Verified.”
