[Rumor] Wells Fargo To Launch A New Card On 2/6

Update 2/18/26: See updated info on the two new cards for relationship clients in this post

Update 2/5/26: Additional details (rumored):

  • $95 annual fee
  • 100,000 point sign up bonus, $4,000 minimum spend requirement
  • Visa Infinite (Autograph Journey is Visa Signature)
  • Available to Premier clients only (requires $250,000 in funds. Some readers have from this promotion)
  • Same spend multipliers as Autograph Journey
    • 5x on hotels
    • 4x on airlines
    • 3x on travel and restaurants
    • 1x on all other purchases
  • Metal card
  • TSA Pre/Global Entry credit
  • Same credits etc as Autograph Journey
  • Could launch 2/7

Basically a rebranded Autograph Journey with the 100,000 point in branch offer.

Original post: Reader Frank recently went into a Wells Fargo branch to apply for the 100,000 point Autograph Journey bonus. The employee stated that a new card would be launching on 2/6 and “it was the same cost but better”.

The 2/6 date is the conversion date of Bilt cards to a Wells Fargo Autograph Visa Credit Card so it’s very possible they were confused regarding that. The only thing that makes me think that isn’t the case is that the Autograph Journey has a $95 annual fee whereas the Autograph is no annual fee.

Would be very surprised if Wells Fargo was launching something better value than the 100,000 point Autograph Journey though as that offer is currently restricted to Premier clients. It’s not unusual to see card issuers offer increased value after losing a portfolio though and Bilt was a massive money loser for Wells Fargo so they will certainly have extra money to spend.
