They can be but because they’re fixed amounts, the purchase has to be less than the amount on the card.

I came across Happy Her and Happy Moments physical gift cards which include Macy’s or Happy You and Happy Holidays egift cards which also include Macy’s but appear to be for online use exclusively, if that is of benefit to you.

That will be great because I only shop on their website due to 8%(at least) cashback portal

The bedbath in my area insisted on “no gc buy gc” policy, arghhhhhh. Now i’m stuck with 3 500’s and have no way to liquidate! Any way to help out?

Rick I @PointChaser had written that the HC can be redeemed at Walmart for MO. Naturally YMMV.

Geng Try a different BBB location. If you are stuck with $1500 worth of Happies, it may be worth driving an hour somewhere else to liquidate.

Is the Happy lady working at BedBath retailer? I tried it yesterday to buy an ebay giftcard and it was declined. Is there a trick to make it work?

Vons/Albertsons in my region stopped selling HappyLady cards alltogether.
They now sell HappyHer instead.
Have been running into a few problems with these lately (e.g. they do not seem to work at buybuybaby anymore).
Also cashiers seem to be more observant, esp. while doing split-payments using multiple Happy cards (and it does say on the Happy cards now that you can’t use them for GC purchase).

Would advise everyone to go small first and try if/what works in your regional market (instead of right away maxing out the 10% discount, esp. since it’s easy to create ‘secondary’ just4u accounts).

Good luck… 🙂

I agree. Even Panera is starting to look out for this as well. Killed my avenue of using for the promos Panera runs. It was good while it lasted.

Yeah, it’s definitely gotten harder overall.
Might be time to revert back to the one special HomeDepot in my area, where the main manager being alerted by the observant cashier (who questioned my multiple split-payment transactions using HappyGuy cards to get VGC’s) just rudely told her:
“If the system allows it, it’s always right and you just let it go through…”

One of those :surprised-pikachu: moments… 😉

Nick Did your Happy Lady have a sticker on the back covering the card information? The new run of Happy cards, with the sticker covering the card info, may be more restricted in what you can buy with them compared to the old ones.

Happy Guy which is often excluded in many of the Happy Card promotions is included in this 10% off, plus gas/grocery rewards 2X, so it is a pretty decent offer/deal for those who can use it. Worse case scenario is getting Home Depot at 10% off or more in denomination up to $500 per card, so another nice/convenient deal to do.
