- Sam’s Club is offering their 3% cash back for their Credit Card & Mastercard holders on all Scan & Go purchases now through January 31st, 2018.
The Fine Print
- To qualify for this offer you must make qualifying Scan and Go purchase(s) using your Sam’s Club Consumer credit card in Sam’s Club.
- For Sam’s Club Mastercard accounts, 3% will be added to your Cash Back balance (1% from other category and 2% in Bonus category).
- For Sam’s Club Mastercard accounts on the Up to 1%, or Up to 2% Rewards program, the 3% will be added to your Cash Back amount in the bonus category.
- For Sam’s Club Credit Card accounts, the 3% will be paid as a statement credit in 1-2 billing cycles after the qualifying purchase(s) are made.
- For newly opened Sam’s Club credit card accounts, you will need to wait until you receive your Sam’s Club credit card in the mail before you can load your account to Scan and Go. Offer valid in Clubs where Scan & Go is available.
- Offer not valid on the Sam’s Club Business Mastercard, Sam’s Club Business Credit or Direct Accounts. Subject to credit approval.
Our Verdict
I assume Scan & Go won’t work on gift card purchases, but I’m not 100% sure on that (confirmed not to work). Might still be of use to some people. The Sam’s Club Mastercard also earns 5% cash back on gas purchases ($6,000 annual cap) making it one of the best cards for gas purchases.
