Our Verdict
Basically comes out like free membership if you can spend down the $50 at Sam’s in-club. What’s nice about this offer is that it’s a full price payment so it should stack with other deals like Dosh (currently expired) since the payment should probably appear like a normal full price Sam’s membership.
Some people have a Chase Offer for $50 back as well. Let us know if there are any good stacking ideas.

Just reporting back on my experience… I hit up Sam’s on the way home from work today. Added a few things with ‘Scan And Go’ to see if the discount was working. Nothing showed up. I expected it to work even for totals below $50 due to the offer language about money not being returned if the price was less than the discount, but nope. So, I was disappointed, but I persevered. Once I hit a $50 total in my (virtual) cart, it *did* report/apply the $50 savings. Ymmv, but this deal worked out fine for me using Scan And Pay. Good luck to all!

So far, these offers all suck since the true price of a Sam’s Club membership is below zero.

I signed up on Nov 22 with promotion code 27Y9X. Spent more than $50 today Nov 27, but I didn’t get $50 credit. Cashier told us to go to Customer service, but we didn’t have time to go there. We will check with CS next time we shop there.

Here’s a data point (a negative one). I signed up for a “new” Sam’s club account (used new email address but most everything else was the same – name, address, phone #, etc.) on November 21. I went in-store today (Nov. 27th), and got my membership card. I checked out $51 worth of goods, and as I went to pay there was no credit appearing. I went to Membership Services (they were no help). Membership Services said to call customer service (CS). I called CS, and they said that I am not a new customer, so I am not eligible for the $50 promo credit.

You may as well wait 72 hours and go to the store again and see if the $50 is in checkout.
If not, ask the team members there for help.

You can ask a team member there to override for you too, should your #50 instant savings doesn’t show up in your checkout.
Jokes on call. They shouldn’t call this instant savings if it’d take 72 hours. Despicable!

I got my membership in Dec 22, I waited 1 day and 50.00 showed up. If problem getting it customer service said to let them know and they would take care of it. I did find out if you had a membership in past and don’t renew, then you have to wait 6 months before you are considered a new member again.

Dosh sent me a Black Friday cash flash email featuring $40 CB for Sam’s Club, but the app doesn’t show any eligible offer. I signed up for the same offer exactly a year ago, and my SC membership expired yesterday.

I don’t see any $50 back verbiage with the link or anyplace to put in promo code on mobile- does this have to be done on desktop?
On mobile it was forwarding me to the Sam’s app. I temporarily deleted that and it brought me to the web site with the offer.
